VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring PitchesSep 2025

Great location with lovely views. Close to Crail and Astruther. Friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi is extra, but worked well. Late arrivals procedure easy to follow. Facilities okay, but need refurbishing. No windows and ineffective air extraction, so smelled damp and musty. Two hairdryers in ladies toilets were missing. Light in one of the showers was continually going on and off. Showers always swimming in water. Mops to clean showers not clipped to wall, so a trip hazard. In some of the ladies' washing cubicles, there was no plug in the basin, so you couldn't fill the basin with water to wash. Also, not mixer taps, so had to wash in hot or cold water, rather than being able to mix. Facilities didn't feel particularly clean.

Hi Lesley. Thank you for your review and feedback, we have started to improve the shower block and are having heating installed next week so hopefully that should improve the block. Kind Regards Carole.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring PitchesAug 2025

Wonderful surroundings. The campsite itself is right on the coastline, when we were there it was a bit stormy. But that didn't bother us. Within walking distance, there's a sandy beach and a natural swimming pool when the sea retreats. From the campsite, we took a lovely 20-minute walk to the harbour in Crail. What a beautiful spot. There are lovely restaurants, and at the harbour itself, you can enjoy freshly caught lobster, prepared on the spot. Translated from Dutch.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring PitchesAug 2025

The location of Sauchope is very good indeed, right next to the sea and a short walk to the village and a number of activities and places to visit close by. In a very nice part of Scotland. A warm welcome and very easy instructions supplied to help us find our plot (as we are novices to motor-homing). The Links park is a mixture of different accommodation types, all of which appeared to be very clean, tidy and in very good condition. For motorhomes there are two toilet/shower blocks, one which is mixed male/female use. Although very clean and tidy and with individual toilet and shower booths, we didn't like due to the mixed use. The other block, older and still clean and tidy, has separate male and female toilets with individual self contained shower units. Overall for us a good and enjoyable learning experience, with a special thanks to the couple on the next door pitch.

Glamping Dome - Deluxe Glamping Domes with Hot TubsAug 2025

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Sauchope Links Park. The Glamping Dome was a great space. It satisfied the kids request for a camping trip, but was comfortable and fun for us all. The hot tub was great and toilet/showering facilities were immaculate. The little play park area was handy. The heated pool was a very happy bonus and views from the site were amazing. The little walk to Crail (with a great park on the way) was perfect for our young family. Site was quiet and friendly. We would definitely love to stay again!

Glamping Cabin - Deluxe Ensuite Beach Hut with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly)Mar 2025

Great location, friendly staff, peaceful and litter free. Great views of the sea from the Lodge. Inside was aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but uncomfortable on the body. The sofa and bed was very hard and not relaxing. Manageable for 1 or 2 nights but after a long day walking, a comfy bed or seat would have been better. Hot tub was fab, had to chase up for the bag of logs that came free. But was lovely to sit and relax in. Overall a nice enough stay, would recommend.

Thanks for making my stay in Crail, it was great! You're a friendly and helpful bunch and the beach hut was pretty luxurious with its little kitchen area and heaters. I loved it!

Glamping Cabin - Standard Beach Huts (Dog Friendly)Nov 2024

I stayed at the glamping cabin for 2 that has a sofa bed and two single beds. The cabin is small but very cozy and the heating works incredibly well. It definitely makes camping in winter much easier! There is no water in the cabin but toilets, showers and sinks are located just next to the cabins. It was very clean and well looked after. I only wish there was a little door mat at the entrance to the cabin so that my wet shoes wouldn't make the floor dirty, but that is just a small suggestion. The views of the firth were incredible. The staff were friendly and accommodating when I phoned to say I would be arriving late. They even put the heating on for me and left the lights on so I could locate my cabin easily. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Glamping Cabin - Standard Beach Huts (Dog Friendly)Jul 2024

I was disappointed that the outdoor pool wasn't open, which we only found out about on arrival. Cue a very unhappy 11 year old, but apart from that, loved the site, location and the beach hut, was ideal for what we needed.
