About The Paddocks Touring Park
With onsite horse riding, a play park and an award-winning restaurant and bar, this family friendly touring site is a lovely spot close to the West Scotland coast. In total there are 30 all weather hardstanding pitches, each measuring 6.5m x 9m and allowing a maximum of six people in caravans, motorhomes and RVs. Each one comes complete with 32 amp electric hook up, water supply and waste drainage. For keen horse riders lessons are available as well as guided walk arounds, there's also the option to have a pony party should you be visiting for a special occasion. The site are very eco-concious, growing all of the flowers, plants, vegetables and herbs used throughout the restaurant in three 30 metre polytunnels. They even have their own beehives and guests are welcome to purchase some of this honey to take home! A maximum of two dogs are welcome per pitch, just please ensure they remain on the lead. Campfires are not permitted onsite, sorry.
The Paddocks Touring Park is open all year round.
Onsite facilities include toilets, showers, laundry (additional cost), washing up, WiFi, 24 hour security, a children's play park and horse riding lessons. There are also six electric vehicle charging points.
The award-winning onsite restaurant and bar serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, with a drinks delivery service available between 12pm - 8pm. There is also live music on Saturday evenings. For food shopping, there is a Co-op a 15 minute walk away in Bishopton.

The location is a little remote but perfect for an in between stay of a longer trip. The view from the pitches is phenomenal and the facilities were great as well.

Stayed for 1 night as a stop over on my way to the NC500. Couldn't have asked for a better site. All new wash/shower block and with live radio playing. Lovely bar/restaurant with outside seating with heat lamps. The water supply on each pitch is not yet running, probably waiting for this to be completed/connected. But this was no problem as there were hoses that you can drive up to and top up the water. I will go back at the end of my trip for another overnight stay.

Fancy trying your hand at horse riding? Known to be one of the UK's best equestrian centre, you can sign up for riding lessons, pony walk arounds and more right onsite. You can even host your own pony party for a special occasion.
Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park is a half an hour drive away and is a lovely spot for nature lovers. With great walking routes, picturesque woodlands, stunning moorlands and the winding estuary, you could spend days meandering through the landscape.
