There are 30 serviced pitches, set on hardstanding and complete with 32 amp electric, water and waste - perfect for touring units of all types. With plenty to do onsite including horse riding and Glasgow city centre just down the road (30 minutes) this is a great choice for motorhomes and RVs.

The location is a little remote but perfect for an in between stay of a longer trip. The view from the pitches is phenomenal and the facilities were great as well.

Stayed for 1 night as a stop over on my way to the NC500. Couldn't have asked for a better site. All new wash/shower block and with live radio playing. Lovely bar/restaurant with outside seating with heat lamps. The water supply on each pitch is not yet running, probably waiting for this to be completed/connected. But this was no problem as there were hoses that you can drive up to and top up the water. I will go back at the end of my trip for another overnight stay.

The site was clean, quiet and sunny with lots of horses and beautiful scenery. There was a fantastic shower, it was clean and well kept. The restaurant is lovely, we had great coffee and a huge strawberry tart.

What can I say I was blown away by the little gem of this park. It's not been long open, but god they can put a lot of other parks to shame. The facilities are top class, the staff are lovely and it's a nice, peaceful place. I will definitely be back.

Great park….but! The pitch was quite uneven, felt the shower was form over function (nowhere to hang clothes/towel), thought the restaurant was noisy and the food (fish and chips) was unfortunately inedible. The toilet area was great. The refuse and discharge area was very good. Also there was no noise.

Booked the site on a whim to try out our new van. The site was fantastic and facilities clean. The restaurant food was very good and staff very nice. We even managed to get the kids a horse riding lesson.

This site was in a brilliant location to explore Dumfries & Galloway, Loch Lomond and Glasgow. The site was really quiet, even though it was fairly close to a main road, and the facilities were good. The location itself didn't blow us away like other sites have, but it was practical and clean. In summer, it would be nice because each pitch has its own picnic table and grass area. There are facilities, e.g. a restaurant, at the country club which the site is part of, but we didn't get chance to use these. We would probably return just because of the location and being able to explore a variety of places.

Lovely site, very grand. However, the showers have no privacy. There are 3 showers in one room, open plan. Toilets had no toilet brushes and no window, so as I went in the last persons smells hit me 😱 what a shame. The pitches are great, lovely views outside the main entrance, but I won't be returning.

We needed somewhere close to Glasgow as we were dropping our hired motorhome back. This place is a gem. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities including benches and seats etc, lovely showers and views over the paddocks. Book in advance if you want to eat at the country club. We were extremely impressed and would highly recommend.

Lovely area. However, the one clothes washer didn't work and we had no luck from the staff - our clothes were in the washer with wet soap and that's how we are taking them home to Canada. It would have been nice if the staff had offered another washer/dryer, as it is also a hotel. As well, there are 3 showers and only 2 were working. No signs until you actually get in and realize there was only cold water- as I was fumbling to move into the stall next to me, a lady said, "oh yes, that one doesn't work!". Signage would be great. So all in all, we liked the campground, there are horses and it is clean and tidy, but the maintenance needs addressing.

This place is stunning in the middle of a fabulous hotel/stables facility. The restaurant and bar are beautiful. The only thing, and I mean only thing, is the showers! Dirty showers with no private cubicles and no space to change. It's like being back at school! The water pressure is very low and changes from hot to cold it would have taken hours to wash my hair so I didn't bother. Having spoke to others staying longer, this was the norm any time of day. If the showers were altered it would be perfect. Such a shame as it lets the site down.

The Paddocks Motorhome Park was the best site we have stayed at on our two weeks holiday by far. We will 100% stay at this excellent site again. Facilities were excellent and the size of the pitches were excellent too. The full site was well laid out and with power and water at our pitch.

Great location for exploring Glasgow and surrounds - 5 min drive to Bishopton then 20 mins on train to Central station. Very peaceful site surrounded by fields and the paddocks. Each pitch has a picnic table. Modern shower and toilet block but could have been a bit bigger with more cubicles/ sinks/ wash up facilities - but very clean and well maintained. Play area looked fun for younger kids. No shop but excellent restaurant with great portions. Not far to drive to usual supermarkets etc. Free Wi-Fi and good signal. Modern facilities, hand soap and moisturiser push it into luxury range for me. Will be back…

A great location for visiting Glasgow, regular trains from Bishopton station 1.8 miles away. Quiet and well laid out pitches, a bit on the expensive side, but that seems the way these days. The facilities were good but if the site is full, 3 showers and 2,toilets per gender is probably not enough, you might have to wait or get your timings right. Overall, we loved our stay here.

Spacious pitches set in beautiful rural setting each with their own grassed picnic area- also very quiet location. East train link to central Glasgow. Showers and wash facilities are very modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay near Glasgow.

Not super close to the train to Glasgow- more than the 15 minute walk they told me, but there is a car park at the station. We got back late each night and had to get out and open the gate, but at least it wasn't locked. Very clean, nice site. The toilets seemed so new so I was surprised- they could use improved sink faucets. Separate hot and cold and very short run time.
