About the site
This small park sits right on the edge of Loch Shieldaig, along the famous NC500 route in the Scottish Highlands. With amazing views across the water, it's the perfect base for a peaceful break or an adventure-filled trip. Just a five minute walk from the site, you'll find the local village with places to eat and a handy shop. The site offers grass tent pitches and hardstanding touring pitches, each with the option of a 16 amp electric hook-up. Grass pitches suit smaller tents (up to 3-4 person), while hardstanding options welcome roof tents, campervans (up to 5m), and caravans or motorhomes (up to 9metres). All guests have access to free WiFi ,too. For a touch of comfort, stay in the Sea Eagle Glamping Pod, a dog-friendly cabin that includes a double bed, kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, induction hob, kettle, toaster, and dining space for two. There's also a Smart TV and soft indoor and outdoor lighting, plus your own private hammock to unwind in. Toilets and showers are just a short stroll away. If you're after a little more luxury, the Sildvik and Sunset ensuite cabins offer hotel-style interiors. Each has a comfortable double bed with linen and towels provided, a private ensuite bathroom, and underfloor heating. The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, Belfast sink, Samsung combi oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and appliances like a Le Creuset kettle and toaster. You'll also find a Smart HDTV, hairdryer, and thoughtful touches like makeup cloths. Both ensuite cabins open out to a private decked area with seating and stunning loch views. Right outside, guests can enjoy Loch Shieldaig, a beautiful spot for kayaking, paddleboarding, and wild swimming, with the surrounding hills offering endless walking routes. The Shieldaig Peninsula Walk is a popular 5km loop directly from the site! BBQs are welcome, just please ensure they are not placed on the grass or pod decking areas. Open fires are not permitted. Up to two dogs are allowed per pitch or in the Sea Eagle pod.
Camping and touring pitches and Sunset and Sea Eagle pods are available from March to November, Sildvik pod is available all year round. Pitches from £14/night for 2 people.
