About Glentress Forest Lodges
This Glentress site is adjacent to the world famous 7Stanes for those on wheels and only a five minute walk from the local Go Ape centre. You can bring your own motorhome or caravan to park up on a set of hardstanding pitches with electric, or stay on grass under canvas. If you'd rather skip the hassle of a tent, you can snuggle into a private pod. These sleep three with plenty of space or up to five a little closer, with heating, lighting and a handy fridge for your groceries inside. They are fully insulated and delightfully cosy with a campfire and picnic bench outside.

Site shared by campers and glampers facilities include a reception, separate ladies' and gents' toilets, plus shower rooms with free hot water. There is a drying room for your gear and site kitchen. Secure bike storage is provided.

On your bike! The 7Stanes aren't just for professional mountain experts - there are trails to suit every level which are bound to tempt you.
No need for a pair of wheels, though, if you're looking to reach new heights and gaze out over gorgeous views. Walks through these misty hills are a huge hit and the luscious trees of Glentress Forest are a great place to explore. For a treetop view, book in a session with Go Ape on their assault courses.
For days out, a drive of around 50 minutes will take you to Edinburgh so that you can get stuck into some proper sightseeing. Browse the shops, sample the great restaurants and visit the atmospheric castle.
