Great site

Great site, booked on the day. Great takeaway Thai and burgers etc. Shop a bit limited but Cheddar is only twenty min walk through a cycle track. Car boot next door. Big pitches. Mobile ice cream van goes around. Fire pits with logs to hire. Will return.

Lovely, relaxing, family site

Staff were amazing already to help and made you very welcome. Well situated site, 10 min walk from Cheddar. Good clean toilet facilities, but did queue for showers due to a full site over bank holiday weekend. Pitches, well, very big. They say it's a free range site and I don't think you could it explain it any better, the kids just run around and play even well behaved dogs can just chill off leads. Food vans on site, good quality but breakfast's a bit pricey.

Great place

We came with family and friends. It was our first time but they have been before. What a clean and well-looked-after site, our toilets and shower cubicles were kept really clean. Will be returning with them again next year.

Fabulous campsite with amazing staff and location

Amazing stay. Great place with fantastic friendly staff. Ended up staying an extra night. Toilets and showers are spotless. Great location nice 10 minute walk into Cheddar. Great van serving breakfast and drinks. Well done all, we'll be back! xx

Brilliant campsite

Brilliant campsite! Fun for all the family, everyone is so friendly. Facilities are excellent on site. Thanks to Keith for being super welcoming. Definitely recommend.

A wonderful campsite, family friendly, great staff. Love free range camping with hot powerful showers.

Fab place to stay!

Can't say enough to compliment the place and staff our stay was amazing, the kids loved it. Staff were well presented and they took pride with everything they did. There's plenty to do around the area within walking distance and driving for only about 20 mins takes you to Wooky Hole, which was great value. Food on site every day for breakfast and the Friday and sat night was pizza and burgers which were great. From our arrival to our departure you could see how well run this place is. Once again staff were amazing.

First time on a campsite!

First time on a campsite. Hired a motorhome and was impressed with the site. Jules was brilliant with the kids, driving them around for a bit of fun.

Well worth the stay, close to the village.

Convenient and easy

Nice, friendly campsite. Fairly large but spread across different fields, so doesn't feel too busy. Very convenient for visiting Cheddar.

Lovely campsite!

We had a 2 night stay in a quiet field, which was super lovely. Especially enjoyed the Cheddar Ales Brewery & Tap House, just 5 mins thru the gate! Loved that Jules the owner was out on his bike checking we were ok & the fire pit truck visiting!

Lovely campsite

It's a really nice campsite, and staff are very helpful. There is breakfast in the mornings, burgers in evenings, pizza on Fridays - even a classic car show on Sunday morning that has things for kids to do as well. It's only 5 min walk into Cheddar and have everything you need not far away. The firepits are a really nice idea and even provide firewood as well.

Very friendly welcome, lots of space to group tents as you like, firewood service to the tent.

Lovely campsite close to Cheddar Gorge

Lovely campsite, 15 minute walk to Cheddar Gorge. Showers and loo lovely and clean with hot free showers. Fire pits and wood delivered to your tent of an evening. We would definitely recommend this campsite and will definitely be back.

Wonderful campsite

Lovely, relaxed campsite with hosts who couldn't be friendlier. Beautifully maintained site and facilities, managing to cater for huge numbers of people, whilst maintaining a small and family-like feel. Would highly recommend.

Would highly recommend

Great location for exploring the area, efficient check in, very friendly, fantastic. Thai food from van on site, great facilities - clean and fresh. Fire pits available and they deliver to your pitch. No problem too big, they helped fix my awning and towed us out when we were stuck in the mud! Would highly recommend staying.

A beautiful, well organised, clean campsite. I will definitely be back, doggie loved his doggie ice cream. Hopefully better weather next time. Keep up the good work. Love love love this campsite.

Great for Cheddar Gorge

This is a great location for families and for those wanting to visit Cheddar Gorge. Walkable from the campsite. Staff are welcoming and helpful throughout your stay. Toilets and Showers are separate cubicles and showers are lovely and warm.

Wonderful stay

Thanks to Jules, Sandra and the super friendly team who helped make our stay so super chilled and a real release getaway from the everyday. Surrounded by green hills and a big sky above. So quiet and peaceful at night, and bustling with happy campers and children by day. Easy access to Cheddar Gorge and the caves attraction. Lovely bike rides from camp. Our dog really enjoyed free roaming too. Highly recommend this lovely site.

Bank holiday weekend madness

I would highly recommend this site. It had everything we could need on site. Helpful staff, great toilet and shower facilities. In a perfect location for Cheddar.

Brilliant stay, best campsite I have been to

Great campsite, staff very helpful and friendly, clean facilities. The fire pit service is brilliant.

Well worth it

The staff were very helpful and the value for money was good, the facilities were kept clean. There was also a kids play area that was unique we all had a great time and will definitely be visiting again.
