Chase Camping at Tackeroo Campsite offers a traditional camping getaway within the picturesque Forestry Commission land of the Cannock Chase AONB. Tents and tourers with their own facilities are welcome across non electric hardstanding and grass pitches each nestled under the shade of the forest canopy. Surrounded by beautiful parkland, roaming wildlife, wonderful cycle trails and great dog walks, it is the perfect spot to unwind in the outdoors!

honest review, Monday to Thursday this site will be so peacefully come Friday afternoon alot of people turn up, music is played until around 10pm then that goes quiet & all you will hear is people chatting at the benches. alot of mountain bike users on the trails . but overall if you like it quiet go week days.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, off grid, surrounded by Cannock Chase (which is excellent for walking /exploring), then this is the place to be. Excellent bike track off road.

An excellent site, sheltered, flat and you're allowed to choose your own spot. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Secure locked gate, code given prior to arrival. Were greeted by friendly staff. Pop up shop on site with temporary toilets and hot water showers. Drinking water taps available. Elsan and grey water disposal points. Lots of walking and cycle routes.
