Forest View offers extensive walking and cycling in the Cannock Chase AONB with no main highway traffic and is set on a charming working farm with sheep, poultry and abundant bird life. There is an extension paddock ideal for rallies, and dogs are welcome to join you. The site offers grass and hardstanding pitches.

This is a quiet and peaceful site in the Midlands. Forest View is within easy driving distance of many attractions including Alton Towers, the National Arboretum, RAF Cosford, Cadbury World and many more. Shugborough Estate is a good stretch of the legs across the Chase and it's less than an hour to Drayton Manor, if you fancy some thrills. It is a great central point to use as a base for an entire holiday of daily trips out. Pitches are on level ground.. Campervans and bikers are welcome on the rally field. The caravan site has been upgraded in 2023 with eight hardcore pitches all with ehu and water connectivity. Portaloos are provided on the rally field. Deer are sighted regularly, sometimes visiting the site overnight, and there is abundant bird life and wildlife generally in the surrounding area.

Usual site rules - dogs on leads and under control at all times, no ball games on site, no fire pits. Visitors are allowed within reason.
All we ask is that you respect our site and leave it as you find it.
BBQs allowed but no fires.
The site doesn't offer on-site activities but you are welcome to create your own - such as rustling up a BBQ dinner under a starry sky. NO fire pits please.
Or you can simply enjoy what Cannock Chase has to offer - miles of walking or cycling without the need to travel away from the site to start your adventure.
There are two visitor centres on the Chase, from the county council and Forestry Commission - they'll help point you to where you can swing through the trees with Go Ape or hire a bike to explore further.
This is an area touched by an everlasting memory of the Great War, with the German and Commonwealth Cannock Chase Military Cemeteries, the Katyn Memorial and lots of WW1 archeology. Information is available in the information centre relating to 1914-1918 war camps. The site is actually situated on the camp area.
Cannock Chase coalfield has a rich mining history too, with the last coal mines closing in the 90s, and you can uncover it all at the Museum of Cannock Chase.
