About Church Farm Camping

This small, family friendly site is located just outside of the village of Redisham, 20 minutes from Southwold. The quiet rural setting makes it a great place to relax, whilst also being in easy reach of many of Suffolk's most popular attractions and beaches. For tent campers, there are ten non electric grass pitches available. The non electric grass pitches are spread across a gently sloping field sheltered by hedgerows and surrounded by a woodland full of wildlife. The site also has a glamping cabin which sleeps six in a ground floor bedroom, a mezzanine bedroom reached by ladder and a small double sofa bed. Inside is your own lounge and solar USB chargers and lighting which make it nice and cosy. Linen is provided for the two bedrooms but if using the sofa bed you will need to bring your own. Outside you can find your own al fresco cooking and dining area, perfect for nights outdoors with the whole family. The area is sheltered by an awning with a four ringed calor gas hob, crockery, cups, pans, cooking utensils and cutlery. The site is extremely eco-conscious and tries to do as much to protect the environment as possible. The facilities are all 'off grid', waste water is used to water the reed beds for the site's pond and the WiFi (which is available across the site) is powered by solar panels. There is a fire pit on site which is available to hire, but no other campfires or BBQs are allowed. Dogs are not allowed at this site, sorry.

Open from 15 May to 9 September

A note from the site themselves...

The campsite is part of a six acre site that we are attempting to manage as a small holding and we are looking to improve its biodiversity. We have planted 1500 trees, put up an owl nest box, (which has been used for five generations of barn owls now), sown wildflower meadows and improved the existing woodland.
