Lovely little campsite with plenty for the kids to do such as mini golf, archery and the escape rooms. We stayed in the pod, which was very nice indeed - clean, spacious with all mod cons. Ice cold air con, which was a godsend as the weather was so hot. Handy little café/bar, plenty of showers and loos. Good location near town of Bury St Edmunds for activities such as swimming, Lazer Quest and go carts. The village the campsite is located in has lovely pubs and convenience stores. Would definitely stay again.

A nice place to stay, would go again, the kids enjoyed it. The crazy golf was the kids' highlight, although pricey with 3 kids - £40 for two rounds. Seems plenty to do, i.e. archery, grown up assault course, escape room - all this literally next to the campsite, but everything was extra. However, the campsite was lovely and clean, very good facilities, easy access, very well planned and first class contact with gate codes, pitch etc. This was a big plus and one of the best for this. Would we go again? Yes. Would we recommend? Yes.

Loved it. Nice location and like how you had hands on with the children, allowing them to interact with the animals - thank you.

Good location for visiting Newmarket racing! Would stay again for that purpose. Friendly owner allowed us to have a late checkout on departure day at no extra charge. Good value nightly rate with EHU. Only criticism would be the cleanliness of showers and loos.

A truly wonderful campsite with good size pitches and friendly and helpful staff. Toilets and showers were rustic but clean with lovely hot water. We were a family of adults and elder children but still found lots to do, including football, mini golf, escape room and next door is an assault course and axe throwing. Even has animals and some free range chickens roaming about! Couldn’t ask for a nicer campsite and we are already discussing coming back.

Lots for children of all ages to do. Lovely walks. Café and bar onside. Showers clean and lovely and warm. I stayed in the glamping pod very clean and comfy. My daughter, son in law and baby grandson took their tent. My son and his 2 boys (8 and 12) took their tents. Pitches were a great size. We all had a fabulous time. Stayed for 2 nights. Would highly recommend the site.

I stayed at Church View for a couple of nights while cycling across Suffolk. It's a very friendly, easy going, slightly quirky site, down a lane from the centre of the village of Barrow. The location is quiet despite being not far from the A14 and the facilities were everything I needed. Having the bar on site sets Church View apart from most campsites, being able to sit in the shade with a cold cider after a long hot bike ride was much appreciated and in the morning it was somewhere to buy a coffee before setting off, instead of having to find a café. The site is very family friendly and there are lots of kids around but I wasn't disturbed by them at all, although I did sometimes have to join the queue for feeding the guinea pigs! I'll definitely stop at Church View again the next time I'm passing through. As an aside, there is also a small post office on the lane into Barrow which people may find useful.

Really nice site with useful amenities. Staff gave us a tip to walk through the countryside to the village of Barrow, which was lovely.

A short weekend was spent on the site, but all staff were friendly. The set-up could not have been any better, facilities were always spotless. I couldn't find a single fault, we had a great time and will 100% be returning.

Lovely park in a peaceful setting. It really makes it feel more like home with all the animals to pet. Really nice place for the little ones too, they will love it! All in all, a nice place to visit - will come again. Owner very nice and friendly too as was the lovely cat.

Lovely glamping pod perfect for a family get away. The facilities onsite were great for keeping our little one entertained and it was all dog friendly. It's only a short walk away for the local village. The food from the café was great value for money. Only downside was that the glamping pod could have done with being a bit cleaner. But overall, a lovely camping site perfect for a quick get away.

Glad you had a nice time and sorry the pod let us down a little.

This was the first time camping with the kids, so decided to try one night as it was local. Site was great, toilets were clean and tidy, and there is a sink to do washing up in the hub if it is raining. The kids loved feeding the rabbits and guinea pigs and are already asking when we can go back.

So glad you had a nice time.

The fact there was an adult only field made it for us, especially as it was a bank holiday weekend. It was so nice and quiet. The facilities are basic, but perfectly adequate. A few more sinks around would have greatly improved it. Also, a shop of some sort would be good. Otherwise very nice and we will return.

We are working over the winter to pop a couple more sinks in where they will be useful for the Sunset field.

A lovely campsite where we spent our weekend. Originally we had booked a serviced hardstanding and grass pitch as it was the only one left, however on arrival there was availability in the sunset field (XL grass pitches with electric and water) which I believe would usually be adult only but due to summer was open to families too. The campsite owner kindly let us move into that field. Great activities onsite including archery with Patrick that we very much enjoyed, he is very welcoming. They have hutches of rabbits and guinea pigs which are enjoyed by children (and our pup). They host running events, there's an assault course and a Thai restaurant that we got takeaway from both nights. Everything you need and only a short walk from barrow. We drove and spent the day in Bury St Edmunds which is worth a visit on the first Sunday of the month - market day. Cathedral grounds lovely.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. A couple of additions which folks might find helpful. As well as the Sunday market days. Wednesdays and Saturdays are general market days in Bury St Edmunds. Our bar/cafe will be serving snacks and pizza in 2023 and our Sunset field with the very large pitches (great for groups) is now open to families not just adults

A friendly, welcoming campsite, very reasonably priced. Nice, free and easy atmosphere but not a 'fancy' site, just good, basic but spotless amenities. A little gem.

Needed a one night stay near Bury St Edmonds so Church View worked ideally. Has an intimate feel yet not crowded. Didn't need to use indoor facilities as outdoor ones were fine. Friendly warden Amanda popped round to check all was ok. Walked in to Barrow village - easy 10-15 min stroll for shop (and chippy!)
