An adult only, tranquil spot, High Town House is a pleasant family run site with a coarse fishing lake and lovely views. Picturesque field and lake views are all around and this is a great base for the market town of Bury St Edmunds.
Access is easy and the site's 1.5 spacious acres include electric hook up pitches and non electric pitches, all on grass. From this rural base, there is farmland on all sides and a little further away you'll find Suffolk's pretty towns and villages. The ground is mostly level and a small copse helps to separate the pitches and provide water points.
Open from Easter to end of September

A drive to Bury St Edmunds gives you a chance to stroll around the abbey gardens, browse for tasty bites at the local market and perhaps press on to Ipswich for a lovely dinner.
Within an hour you can be on Suffolk's well known heritage coastline. Here it's all about embracing the old time feel (and great beaches) of places like Southwold, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh, with an ice cream and a walk on the pier.
Got a taste for some adrenaline? You could be flying high at the gliding club, which is walkable from the CS, at Rattlesden Airfield. The gliding club has packages and trial lessons to help you get up in the clouds.
