Love life by the water? Alton Water Park is the largest of its kind in Suffolk and features waterside views and miles of great cycle tracks for anyone looking to get active. There are water sports for all ages, it's family and dog friendly and a yummy tea room has all you need to refuel after a day's activities.
About Alton Water Park
Pitches are set across a level, grassed area with plenty of communal space for walks, jogging and more. The park's 88 pitches include super and standard options, with electric supplied to every pitch and a water point to every four pitches. Wildlife see this spot as their home, so there are excellent opportunities for spotting nesting birds, flitting butterflies and unusual pondlife.
Open from 1 April to 30 September
Site facilities include a toilet/shower block where both the male and female sections have five showers inside them and a covered washing up area. Kids have a play area and sand pit to enjoy. There is a tea room and visitor centre onsite serving refreshments, snacks and meals throughout the day. The site includes secluded coarse fishing lakes and close by you'll find a sailing club and watersports centre.
The Co-op in Holbrook village is 5 minutes away by car and a pub is in easy walking distance.

Check In times are from 2pm on day of arrival with a check out time of 12pm on departure day.

Things to do on site and in the Ipswich area
Glorious days can be spent fishin', walkin' and biking around the site's excellent cycle trails - over 8 miles of track. For those keen to glide rather than speed, a quiet lane makes a great alternative.
You and the family will find all the professional facilities you need for sailing and canoeing, so get out on the water and make a day of it!
A 15 minute stroll will have your belly full and a drink in your hand at the Kings Head and regular buses will takes you to Ipswich for a day's shopping and urban fun.
