VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Motorhome Pitches Jul 2025

The touring park is clearly not the priority. The laundry factory to service the static caravan park is directly opposite the touring pitches and is a loud and bustling environment. The toilets and showers are filthy. I pity customers that don't have their own onboard. The walk to the showers involved avoiding a pile of dog excrement on the way. I only regret not taking photos to evidence.

Lovely site, shame about some dog owners!

Motorhome - Electric Grass Motorhome Pitches Jul 2025

Overall, we found the site to be really good. Unfortunately, when you arrive, you have to rely on the goodwill of other guests to tell you how things work and where to locate everything, as this site is not manned and no-one comes to see you in. The site provides everything needed and whilst the facilities are dated, they are kept reasonably clean (except for how the other guests leave them). Some issues we encountered were that dog mess left by owners and not cleaned up. This was in multiple places around the site and most was not cleaned up by the site over the 3 days we were there. Dog owners thinking it was ok for their dogs to be off a lead and the owners had a right to have a go at me when a dog leapt up at me and I said it should be on a lead (they were staying in the wooden lodge). Toilet doors left open so that birds could fly in and leave their mess, the ladies on day 2 had bird mess all over the floors, shelves and the single poof. All the above said, we will be back & hope the guests staying then keep things better than some of them did this time.

Did the job of giving us a base

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Motorhome Pitches Jun 2025

Confused on arrival as couldn't find reception. Spoke to a regular who explained about looking on board for plot number. Did this, but someone on that plot. Another regular kindly made a phone call & we were told to chose any plot. More than one regular customer commented that this happened often. Of coming & going with laundry business. Not sure if we would stay again during to confusion at start.
