Cakes and Ale Holiday Park

Theberton, Suffolk

+ 7 photos

Cakes and Ale is a family owned holiday park on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. A great deal of attention is paid to the maintenance of the park, and the park has carefully and subtly retained much of the layout of the airfield whilst celebrating its history as an American air base during WWII.

About Cakes and Ale Holiday Park

Set in over 45-acres of pristine grounds on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Cakes and Ale Holiday Park provides the ideal base from which to discover and explore the many charming nearby villages and stunning countryside, away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. One of three holiday park businesses within the Little family, the emphasis here is firmly on peace, quiet and relaxation. You'll see Fergus on site most days to welcome visitors and personally deal with any queries. The park follows a natural, organic layout, guided largely by the roads left over the WWII US air base that once occupied the site, with an average of just ten pitches per acre (by contrast to other holiday parks who squeeze in the maximum allowable 40 holiday homes per acre. The touring field offers 55 fully serviced pitches, all with hardstanding and grass, 10 amp electric, water and waste water connections, wide tarmac drives and adjacent car parking. Pitches are arranged around the exterior perimeter of the field, leaving a large area of grass in the centre. The site is dog friendly.

Open from 2 April to 30 October
