Great campsite, friendly staff and nice buzz. Very pretty views from the higher pitches and equally some cool more forest back pitches lower down. Great hikes right on the campsite and also loads just a short drive away.

Lovely back to nature site, right on the North Downs Way. A little over-priced, given that the showers were cold water and fire pits aren't included, but everything was clean and as described. The host was friendly and helpful and the pitches were well spaced out.

Having decided at the last minute to book a night away, I chose the site. Wasn't really sure what to expect but in arrival I was really impressed. The composting toilets were immaculate, very well signed and explaining what to do. The hand basin and pot wash was a great addition. The site was advertised as being full and there were many people staying there, yet it remained peaceful and quiet. Other guests were very friendly and welcoming. The views were great and having the North Downs mere metres from the van was ideal. Would I return, absolutely. Having a site like this about 40 mins from home is ideal. Highly recommend it.

Great off-grid campsite in a wonderful setting. Sophie who runs the site is extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The arrival admin was very efficient. Will definitely be back.

Lovely campsite. Really spacious with lovely views. Only marked facilities down to 4* as currently no hot water in showers (which was as expected, but a bit of heat would make all the difference). Would visit again.

Really nicely looked after place on the back of an estate. Feels like you are properly away from the hubbub. Nicely organised and low impact on the environment and green setup. Easy to get to but feels peaceful in the countryside.

Composting toilets were well maintained but shower facilities I felt were not suitable for a sole female traveller

A lovely spot right next to the North Downs Way, I stayed for one night with my two children and we all had a great time. Sophie greeted us upon our arrival with a fire pit and marshmallows and ensured that we had all the info we needed. It is clear that Waggoners care about the customer experience and have put a lot of effort into the design and maintenance of the amenities. Thanks Sophie, I'm sure we'll be back.

This camp is tucked away and very peaceful. The pitches are well spaced out and the facilities were spotlessly clean. It was just my daughter and I, but it was so quiet and nice- we felt very safe. Couldn't fault it on anything.

This is a wonderful campsite and we really enjoyed our stay. The compostable toilets were clean and comfortable with dried lavender hanging in each cubicle. The wash areas were clean with soap and washing-up liquid provided and we really liked the showers! We would love to return next time we are in the area.

My wife and I came on our motorcycle and we found the quality more than what we expected. The staff welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed looking at the stars at night. The temperature was amazing and the breeze was nice.

If you're happy to be slightly off-grid, this campsite is great. There are 6 composting loos that were all spotless when I visited. Decent hand wash and pot wash areas. There's no hot water if you're fussy about that. There are cold showers in the woods that are not for the faint-hearted, but fab on a hot day. There was loads of space when we stayed. You are literally on the North Downs Way, so great for walking. And an excellent pub 40 min walk away. The only downside is if the wind is in a certain direction, you can hear the nearby main road.

This is an unique and beautiful place, very nicely located in the North Downs, Surrey. Perfect for couples, solo travel by bikes and also for families. Due to great location, at night you can see the stars. All the facilities are great, clean and everything is ecological and environmentally friendly. The campsite has great walks nearby, a beautiful cafe area nearby, pubs and beautiful lakes where you can fish. Frensham Great Pond is not far and wonderful for wild swimming.
