Grass pitches, with optional electric hook-up, are located right next to the onsite restaurant, and at the heart of the many live outdoor events which run throughout the summer.
About Bodiam Boating Station
This beautiful site is an ideal place to stay if you don't want to get in your car again! These cosy 25 pitches, including grass pitches with optional electric hook-up, encourages campfires and shared experiences between all. On site you can eat at the cafe, buy a few provisions, swim in the river, hire boats and take a river cruise to visit Bodiam Castle. Throughout the summer, there are various outdoor events. Enjoy hearty breakfast, lunch (speciality Spanish Tapas) or afternoon tea in the licensed café and garden. Dog are welcome.

Things to do on site and in the Cranbrook area
Activities include enjoying a delicious meal at the onsite cafe, or attending one of the many outdoor events which run across the summer.
Kayaks, paddleboards, canoes and more are available for hire. River cruises also begin onsite, and run to National Trust site Bodiam Castle. Finally, you can always ditch the boat for a dip in the river.
Within walking distance you can jump on a steam train to Tenterden, to visit the pub or curry house, get a bus to Hastings, or even walk to Rye along the river (8m).
