Last minute booking and what a find. Don't know the area of North Angelsey that well but still took a punt. Let ourselves on site and had clear instructions from the owners on what pitch we were on, so were set up in half an hour. It's a no frills site but the park and the toilet block were more than adequate and kept clean. Site is well kept and showers had loads of hot water and were also very clean. Fantastic base to explore the beaches and towns close by. There was one person staying on site who was a bit noisy on the second night but he was tucked up in bed before 11pm so didn't bother us. As I said, it didn't deter us from having a fantastic weekend away. (Please note the owners did come to us on Sunday morning to apologize for that too, quite a nice touch). If you are after a nice place close to fantastic beaches, you will be sure to find this place to your liking. Had a fantastic time and will be back for more in the future.

First time camping with the van and awning so wanted to go somewhere that had good facilities and not too far. This spot is ideal, it's just outside Rhosneigr so superb access to the beach and places for food etc. Toilets and showers were spotless and pitch size was really good. The campsite was busy as it was half term but it was still peaceful and no issues with loud noises in the evening. There's a milkshake barn next to the campsite which we didn't get a chance to visit but something to look forwards to the next time we come to stay.

This is a good site. Showers and toilets are plentiful and spotlessly clean. The washing up room also has a washer and drier. Not too far to walk to the beach and other local shops. This side of the island is beautiful if you enjoy a drive. No facilities for children.

Lovely campsite - perfectly situated for touring the island - really can't fault it... Our trailer is 8ft wide & over well 8m long - plenty of room on the perfectly level hardstanding pitch. On pitch electric, water & grey waste drain are great facilities too. Ooh - and the bonus milkshake machine is a massive plus. We'll be booking to stay again next year.

Whilst I appreciate it was the end of season, I felt there was a general air of neglect about this park. We were given an access code to gain entry and also our pitch number. We saw nobody at all who might have been in charge that night or the next morning, we were very much left to find everything ourselves. The pitch was gravel. The water tap was, for some reason, turned on its side and when we tried to point it downwards, it leaked. The dog walk is a short walk between hedges on a bank, we didn't think it was secure and it wasn't very long. The dog poo bin was overflowing in the evening and still in the morning. The washing facilities were all very good with plentiful hot water for dishes and clean showers. If the site had been full, we felt there would have been little space between campers, very cosy! On the plus side it was very quiet and the chippy in Rhosneigr, 'Scarlett's', was excellent and highly recommended.

Nice, no frills site. Mainly adults during our stay but some families. Peaceful atmosphere and very friendly neighbours 😊 Facilities are great, clean and always a free shower. Everything you need during our stay. Definitely car drive to the beach, but we tended to go out in the car to find lovely bays and coves along Trearddur Bay. Would recommend this site as a base to explore.

Fantastic site, lovely, sunny large pitches all fully serviced! The owner was very welcoming with lots of local area info and also lent us a pipe to drain our water as we forgot ours! Very clean facilities and everywhere really well maintained. The site is a little out of Rhosneigr, about 35-40 mins walk. It’s 25 mins walk to the Oyster Catcher pub/restaurant - well worth a visit!

The site wasn't for us as we didn't want to use our motorhome to go to the town. Parking was a problem. No buses close by and a 3 mile walk into town and back. No shop on site, so take all you need with you. But the site was clean and tidy.

Site was clean, location is not as near to the beaches as we thought, would have preferred something nearer to the coast. However that's not a problem with the site. Lovely National Trust walk nearby.

Well situated for ferry, quiet, clean site. Good welcome. Hook up did not work, not a big issue, but for £38 a night, not great value.

Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night due to weather. The site was nice and quiet, but the location wasn't good as it wasn't a long walk to the village and beach. It felt dangerous as all the roads had very small footpaths and felt very unsafe with young children. This would be perfect for adults only, but with children, I would definitely go to another site. There are no ball games allowed and no noise. Obviously, we can understand noise to a level, but we felt like all we did was tell the kids off for running and playing around.
Site's response
Sorry to hear you were not happy with our site and admittedly the weather was terrible. Our sign says no loud noise, we do not consider the sound of children playing as being loud noise. As for ball games, they were banned after complaints from people that the balls kept hitting their caravans and a window being broken.

The campsite itself is clean. The shower/wet room were cold and seemed to have an issue with the drains. Nothing really to do within walking distance, drove to the local beach and into Rhosneigr, which were both beautiful.

Just bought a campervan and wanted to take it for a shakedown weekend for me and my dog. Really glad I picked this site. Close to the beach but inland enough so it's quiet and relaxing enough to chill. Facilities were really good (very clean and open 24 hours). Each campervan/motorhome pitch had their own electricity and water hook-up, and booking was very easy. Satnav got me straight to the site without any hassle. Highly recommend!
