Try something new and different on your next trip to Mid Wales, with this beautifully converted historic railway carriage. It's been renovated to include all the glamping comforts you could need and is set right by sandy Aberporth Beach, close to New Quay and all of Cardigan Bay. Take in the gorgeous views from your setting on the clifftop, enjoy your private garden and relax by the seaside.
Set at the edge of the village of Aberporth, the carriage is in an elevated position with fantastic views. It sleeps two in a lovely bedroom with a king size bed and also features a spacious lobby with laundry facilities, a kitchen with all you need and space to seat four, and a wood burning stove in the living room to keep you toasty. If needed, you can also pop on the underfloor heating and feel your toes getting toasty. Outside there is seating on a balcony with clifftop views and an enclosed garden for you to enjoy. The carriage features parking for one car and a boat.

Your setting, just moments from the beach, means that you'll likely spend hours relaxing by the waves or taking walks along the surroundings of Cardigan Bay. There is space for launching a boat at the beach, if you'd like to bring one with you, and then you can sail around the Welsh Coast. You're likely to spot friendly dolphins and seals in these waters.
The coastline is dotted with lovely waterfalls, such as Gwalia Falls, a great place to relax and explore for couples. After that, stop into New Quay to take in its picturesque harbour, buy an ice cream and perhaps join a boat trip (if you didn't bring your own boat).
A short drive will take you to the Museum of Power in Tan-y-groes where you can explore a huge range of engines and get hands on with interactive displays.
