With direct access to the beach just a couple of minutes' walk away, the coast has long been a big drawer to Sunnyvale, but should you prefer, the River Clwyd runs past the site and its banks make for a great place to watch the yachts run in and out of the harbour.

Kinmel Bay is a paradise for water sport lovers, and those who enjoy lake and coastal fishing. There are a wide range of walking and cycling trails taking in the coastal scenery too.

Tir Prince offers a combination of American-style harness racing, a theme park full of adrenaline-inducing rides, and a popular market.
