About Corn Bwch Campsite

Set on the outskirts of St. Asaph and close to the A55, the Rawson family welcome you to their rural camping and glamping site. There are 18 level non-electric grass pitches available on this tent only site. The pitches spread across 3.5 acres of a converted pony paddock with ample space to relax and enjoy. For a more luxurious camping experience, why not opt for one of two bell tents in an exclusive area of the site. Each off-grid, the furnished tent comes complete with a double bed, warm cozy bedding and fairy lights for a romantic touch. Additional camp beds can be provided for children if required (maximum occupancy of two adults and two children). Each bell tent has it's own picnic bench, covered BBQ area and own fire pit with a complimentary bag of logs (additional wood can be purchased onsite). If staying in a bell tent, you have access to a shared wooden cabin (again off grid) with a range of kitchen facilities such as a camping stove, kettle, crockery and cutlery. All you need to bring are your own towels, a torch and some warm clothing in case the evenings get cool. You'll be treated to views of the Clwydian Hills and are within easy reach of many North Wales' attractions. Explore Snowdonia, the coastal towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn (15-minute drive), Conwy and Llandudno (30 minutes) as well as Chester and Liverpool (less than 1 hour away). A maximum of two dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. No dogs permitted in the bell tents regrettably.

Corn Bwch is open from the 24th May- 1st June and weekends in June and July. It is also open from August to the end of September.

A note from the site themselves...

Corn Bwch grew out of our own love of camping and the outdoors.

With a no music policy and limited numbers per booking, we aim to provide a quiet, peaceful site for families, couples and solo travellers where campers show respect for each other and to the environment around us. Most importantly, we never overfill the site to ensure plenty of space for the comfort of all our guests.

This is a back to basics site but with all the essentials for an enjoyable stay and with the aim of having minimal impact on the beautiful countryside and neighbourhood around us. It is a campsite with an atmosphere and facilities that we ourselves are proud of!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Stayed 3 nights over the August Bank Holiday by myself for a few nights of relaxation. Lovely little site. Well laid out with pitches along either side of the field with a track running through the middle. I pitched up in a quiet little corner. Lovely powerful hot showers - basic but more than adequate. Fire pit rental was a bonus, and helped to make the evenings cosy. Owners were both lovely people, and very accommodating when I requested late check-out. The only thing that could maybe be improved is some instruction on arrival. I was unsure if I needed to check in or was allocated a certain pitch. Having asked another camper, he told me someone would come round in the evening to check people in and say hello. But I was a bit worried I'd have to relocate to another pitch. Overall I was really happy with my stay. I felt very safe as a lone female camper, and will definitely use this site again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Well, where do we start? This place was the dream campsite from start to finish. We arrived to a freshly mown pitch, our closest neighbours were the cows in the adjoining field. There were wooden park benches evenly spread out throughout the campsite as well as the option to hire a fire pit and firewood, however, you could buy or bring your own wood if you so wish. Facilities were clean and well maintained as well as drinking water only a stone's throw away from any point in the site. Camp manager was welcoming and professional. Dogs were on leads at all times and the campsite was peaceful all adhering to the quiet hours which was brilliant. 10/10

Amazing little campsite

Great campsite. We booked it and were amazingly surprised when we arrived at the facilities. The hosts were also very nice as well.
