Exactly as stated - a 'Hideaway in the Hills'. Lovely reception on arrival, lovely area for walks and good facilities. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

The site delivered everything that was promised - it is very beautiful and very peaceful - a real hideaway! I do however feel there should be a little more advance warning about the incredibly narrow 4-mile-stretch of winding road that is the only access - not obvious to everyone who will be staying! The facilities were clean and well-stocked, but very basic. I would recommend to anyone who wants natural beauty in abundance and has a strong stomach for not knowing what is around the corner on the roads!

The facilities were very basic, there was only one shower and one toilet in the men's (with 2 urinals) and the toilet block was quite outdated. It was fairly clean but because it was so basic it didn't feel very inviting to use. There were 2 sinks outside to wash up. Each pitch has a picnic table and a fire pit and there are a few rope swings on site and a small area of woodland with a swing. There isn't a shop of any sorts, just a farmhouse and the only thing you can get from the farmhouse is firewood. The location is lovely and rural and the owner was friendly and I think the site is good if you're looking for a quiet spot and don't mind basic facilities. The road leading to the property is a single track road that runs for about a mile, so there were several times when we had to reverse the car and once, back into the campsite. There was also a gate that you had to get out of the car to open and then close afterwards, so it was a bit of a faff driving on and off site but I guess that's the price you pay for the remote location.

The owner was nothing short of fantastic. The location was lovely but hard to get to. There was not much about and the facilities were basic and served their purpose. Sadly had to leave a day early due to a storm damaging our tent.

This really was a wonderful campsite. A bit rough around the edges, but met all our needs for a truly quiet & relaxing week away. Whilst it was off the beaten track, it had easy access to some great walks with spectacular views. Though the facilities were basic, they were clean and adequate. The pitches were very ample in size and permitted open fires in raised fire pits. The stream passing through added to the ambience and the remote location meant the night sky was filled with more stars that I've seen in years! I would recommend you make a list to remember all your shopping as there is no shop on site and it's at least a 15 minute drive to the nearest shop. We found this a huge positive though as it stopped the kids nagging for snacks constantly! Although the WiFi is available, it is only on part of the site, which I was very grateful for as we could avoid devices for the majority but were still able to check-in back home for emergency checks, etc. The owners were very sweet, helpful and happy for a chat which made the stay that much more special. I would absolutely recommend this site for anyone who wants to properly get away at a quiet, non commercial camp site. Was perfect!

1 toilet and 1 shower not enough for size of site. Water burning hot in shower and cold in basins. Old and not very clean shower/toilet block. Pitches nice, big and flat. Lovely quiet site. Very basic.

I am glad you liked our big and flat pitches and appreciated the quietness of our site. Our toilet block is basic and functional and complies with the minimum requirements for toilets, showers, urinals and washbasins to pitches. We have one toilet, two urinals two washbasins and shower in the mens. Two toilets, two washbasins, and shower in the ladies. We also have an extra shower, toilet and washbasin and baby change in our spacious family room anyone can use. The temperature of the shower is regulated by a thermostat. The toilet block is clean and regularly cleaned throughout the day as stated in our high scoring reviews.

Quiet site, away from everything yet only a couple of miles from Llanbeder. Toilet block basic but clean and a shower available. Two sinks undercover to wash up with hot water. Hired fire basket and bought fire lighters, kindling and logs for £10, which lasted 2 evenings. Nice couple of days detox from modern life and social media. Not a luxury site but if you want to escape and almost wild camp but need loo's and shower this is ideal and cheap. Would go again.

The campsite is in a very secluded area, although quite easy to find. The hosts greeted us on arrival and gave us a choice of pitches. The facilities are what you would expect for a campsite and include showers, water, sinks etc. The views of the surroundings were brilliant. It was also extremely quiet and peaceful. The only issue is the midges, which seem to all come out at night time. However, this is expected due to the location. There was also a lake with a canoe which is free to use, and my partner and I had a lot of fun with that. All in all, we had a great time staying here, would definitely recommend and hopefully return.

What a beautiful campsite ❤️ This is the first time we have been, and what a little gem. It's tucked away in the hills so it's quiet - no road sounds, the site and facilities are nice and clean. Lots of rope swings for the kids, and the little lake is wonderful. Lots of nice places to walk, and only a short car journey to the beach. All in all, a great place to stay.

Beautiful location. Secluded camp field surrounded by ancient woodland and rolling hills. Lots of space. Each pitch has a large clean picnic table and a fire pit. Very welcoming host. Plenty to explore and do. I was on my own but it would be a fun, safe place for children.
