About the site

This family friendly camping and touring site offers a peaceful base to unwind and explore the Brecons, just a five minute drive away. Enjoy mountain views of Pen Y Fan from your pitch and make the most of the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog), also just five minutes away, great for scenic walks, hikes, and cycle routes. Pitch options include non electric grass pitches for tents, and a choice of small or standard hardstanding pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and campervans. Fully serviced hardstanding pitches are also available, with a 10 amp electric hook up and chemical disposal point, suitable for motorhomes, caravans, and campervans. The site also features 55 seasonal touring pitches. For a full day out, head over to Powys, just a 30 minute drive away. Dogs are welcome onsite, with a maximum of two per booking. BBQs are permitted if raised off the ground, but please note that open fires are not allowed.

There is a heated toilet and shower block with free hot water. At the end of the shower block, there is also a chemical waste point and a laundrette with a washing machine (£3 per wash) and a dryer (£1 per 20 minutes of drying time). You will also find a washing up area with three sinks.

From March to October, the reception is open daily from 9am-2:30pm Monday to Friday and from 9am-12pm on Saturday. Please note that it is not always manned.

Guests will also have access to the heated outdoor swimming pool open daily from 10am-4pm. Please keep in mind that the pool doesn't have a lifeguard and children under the age of 16 must have an adult accompanying them. A small play park is also provided for your younger ones. Dogs can roam around in the dog exercise area!

Less than a five minute walk is the Hills restaurant, or if you fancy a cold beverage, the Brecon Tap and the Three Horsehoes Inn are a five minutes drive away. Morrisons and Aldi are also within a five minute drive.

*Please check-in from 2pm. Check out is by 11am on the day of your departure unless by prior arrangement.

*Electric vehicles are not to be charged at the site.

*Up to two dogs are allowed per booking. Sorry, dogs listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are prohibited.

*Dogs are not allowed in the toilets, showers, washing up area or laundry.

*Open Fires are forbidden on the site. BBQs are permitted, but not on the grass. BBQ's are to be raised or placed on a heatproof surface.

*Quiet hours operate between 10pm-7pm.

The site is also just a five minute drive from the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog), making it an ideal base for walking, hiking, and cycling with breathtaking views, mountain trails, and nature-filled adventures.

Be sure to visit Pen Y Fan (20 minutes), the highest peak in South Wales, located in the Brecon Beacons National Park!

A ten minute drive brings you to Black Mountain Adventure, ideal for families, offering canoeing, kayaking, archery, high ropes, and more.

History lovers can also visit Hay Castle (20 minutes), a site worth exploring. For those up for a longer day out, the Wye Valley National Landscape is an hour's drive, with peaceful woodland walks, scenic cycle paths, and panoramic views.
