Highly recommend!

We went for our anniversary and we couldn't have asked for anything better! The views were amazing, hot tub was a bonus! Whenever we needed any help, Ceri messaged me back straight away! We would definitely come back! Thank you for making our anniversary a lovely stay!

Perfect weekend

We have had the most amazing stay here at Cwmllwyd Getaways for a surprise weekend away. From the amazing, cosy accommodation to the most amazing views overlooking the countryside and hot tub, everything has been incredible. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to come back soon!

Picturesque, pretty cabin and such a relaxing place!

We love it at Cwmllwyd Geatawys, it was our second time back! First time I booked it for my fellas birthday and we couldn't wait to come back! The cabin is lovely and clean. The bed is soo comfy, slept like a log! Kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked breakfast and bought a couple of dine in for two meal deals, cooked them in the oven and came out delicious 👌🏻 Wi-Fi is good, radio is dab and has bluetooth connect your phone. Never get tired of those views! We sat out having tea watching the sun start to set - stunning. We had neighbours in the opposite field this time, sheep and baby lambs, soo cute! The hot tub was so relaxing with a drink in hand looking at the view, so picturesque especially on a clear starry night. Great place to either chill out or go on an adventure, there is a travel guide book with lots of lovey places to visit only an hour away from the cabin. Highly recommend! Thank you for being so helpful from booking to arrival, we can't wait to return again!

Relaxing, peaceful getaway

We were originally meant to stay at Cwmllwyd Getaways back in February but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel. The owners were fab and totally understanding so we re-booked for April and stayed Saturday 22nd - Monday 24th. Great communication 😁 When we arrived, the cabin was lovely and clean and the views were perfect. The hot tub was just a bonus to chill in, especially in the evening time with a cold can of cider! You'll be chilling with the neighbours in the field opposite 🐑 (sheep and baby lambs) 😂 but it was just lovely scenery, peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped to make a lovely fry up in the morning, there's a Spar a few miles down the road and we had fresh sausages and bacon from there. Now the bed is one thing I have to mention and big up - best nights sleep you will ever have! Soooo comfy! We travelled to Portmeirion on Sunday, it's about 1 hour and 5 minutes away from the cabin, a stunning place. You have lots of lovely places to visit up to an hour away from the cabin. Highly recommend Cmwllwyd Getaways, we can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful Welsh getaway with hot tub

A beautiful few days in idyllic Mid Wales. A peaceful small site surrounded with countryside views and chilling vibes. The cabin had everything we needed to include a private shower room, well equipped kitchen, spacious living room and super cosy and comfy bed! (Never slept so well!). We enjoyed our breakfast out on the decking with lambs and sheep as neighbours. Not forgetting the amazing hot tub! We just chilled and it was perfect. Hosts were great and gave clear instructions on check in and popped by to say hello! A very lovely chilled site and we can't wait to return very soon, it was the best few days! Highly recommend!!

Brilliant few days, can't wait to return!

Highly recommend! A brilliant few days to celebrate a birthday! The cabin was clean, fresh and had everything we needed! It had a lovely interior décor and facilities. Loved the bespoke bed and the mattress was very comfy! The decking area is great and the hot tub was amazing! The sun captures the cabin all day - it was beautiful. The views from near and far are beautiful. Green fields with lambs playing near by and mountains and countryside in the distance! A real retreat and peaceful place to getaway with lovely helpful hosts. Can't wait to return!

Stunning views and location

Thank you both for looking after us so well. We had a fantastic time! A modern and homely feel to the cabin which was well equipped with everything we needed with a VERY comfy bed. We loved the bed frame! The outdoor space was great and the hot tub was amazing, watching the world go and admire those lush green and valley views. Ideal parking on site and next to the cabin. Wishing you all the best and we can't wait to return! We are already recommending you to all our friends and family that are in need of a getaway!

Amazing experience!

We had the hot tub lodge booked for 2 nights and had an amazing time. It was in the best location, with no noise but just sheep! It was a very clean, modern and perfect space for the 2 of us. We enjoyed staying here, the hot tub was excellent and we really enjoyed this. Will be coming back in future. Just what you need for a good break away from work & being in the city!

Amazing getaway

Absolutely amazing and relaxing weekend. Very clean and modern cabin. The owner came and greeted us and was helpful with any queries. The hot tub was super clean and relaxing. There are some nice local restaurants with very exceptional food.

Worth it!

We had an amazing anniversary getaway 🥰 as we wanted a peaceful, slow, and relaxing celebration. The location was superb 👌🏼and the hot tub, we love it!

Tranquility

What a wonderful little gem Cerniog is. We really enjoyed ourselves and how tranquil it was.

Picturesque, peaceful, perfect

What a cute little converted carriage in a beautiful location, perfect for us as we just wanted to switch off and unwind. Comfy bed , great little hot tub , and kitchenette served our purpose (we took meals we could heat up on the stove). It is a good walk to the nearest pub The Merchant (but we drove and glad we did). They weren't serving food and was told by a local they hadn't been for a while now, we then drove to the unicorn in the next village and had a delicious meal but be aware they only do food at certain times.

Peaceful getaway

The accommodation was perfect for what we were looking for. The location is great for those wanting peace and quiet with great views, but still having plenty of options for places to visit within 1 hr drive. We will be looking to go back again.

Incredible stay!

Where do I start? Absolutely amazing from the start! Requested birthday decor and beers, which was brilliant! Location was insanely beautiful, such a calm and peaceful place. The cabin was gorgeous with everything you need for your stay. Ceri and Geraint made our weekend special and very welcoming! We 100% recommend and will certainly be coming again soon! Thank you! Xx

Reasonable for location

Lovely North-ish Powys location. Idyllic location (barring the invasive Turbines). Carriage was pleasant to live in, though could do with a bit of extra space just to free up what's already available. Could do with some small touch-ups (the few doors aka shower and bed storage do not close fully, leaving leakage and a swinging door-respectively.) Bed sideboards are higher than the mattress, making mounting/dismounting awkward for no particular reason. A TV with HDMI would've been appreciated also.

Cledan cabin

Absolutely beautiful place! The best weekend we've had in such a long time, perfect location, peaceful, spotless, and Ceri was so helpful and welcoming. The hot tub was pure bliss! Will be back very soon!

Glamping cabin

Thank you ever so much for such a lovely weekend. My boyfriend had the best birthday and it was a lovely surprise for him. We can't wait to book again and come back with our friends next time.

Hidden gem

First things first, from the initial point of contact, Ceri was extremely helpful and accommodating, which for me is always a good sign. This location is the perfect little retreat for couples or even a small family, as the pods can sleep up to 4 I believe. Geraint was equally as lovely as he popped by to say hello. It was tidy, clean and had everything we needed. The only thing we would have changed is to have booked a longer stay. We will be back :)

Perfect getaway!

Our stay was super relaxing and the perfect getaway! The location is beautiful with stunning views from the hot tub. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We definitely recommend and will be going back soon 😊

Peaceful and relaxing location with amazing views and hot tub!

A great couple of days relaxing in Wales. We enjoyed relaxing and admiring the views from the decking by day, and in the hot tub by night. The cabin was cosy with everything we needed for a few days away! The hosts were really helpful with the check-in process and things to do in the area and places to eat. A peaceful setting only a short drive away from everything you need. Hoping to return again very soon.
