VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Wonderful location, we would like to come again.
Lovely weekend stay Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We had a lovely time, facilities are lovely and its not far from the beach. There is also a bus that goes from the fish and chip shop at the bottom of the hill, up past the campsite (hill is a killer to walk up).
Pizza at the pizza bus is excellent! Campsite is peaceful, lots of security so also felt very safe.

Delightful campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We had a great stay - beautiful views in a fantastic location.
Campsite was immaculate and very well run. All the campers seem to be having a lovely time and it was very welcoming. Oxwich Bay has a beautiful unspoilt beach but also with nice natural friendly places to eat and have a drink looking out over the bay.
2 nights stay Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely site very clean and tidy. Only downfall was no electric.
Lovely gem of a place Recommends site

Mr & Mrs Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Excellent weekend at Greenways camp site would definitely book again.
Showers could do with being cleaned more often at busy times.
Great campsite Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We went to this campsite last year, and we liked it so much, we returned this year. The facilities are good and clean. Great views from the site, and the location was good, near a nice bay.
Would recommend staying here, and thinking about coming back next year as well.
Gorgeous Gower Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Enjoyed 4 nights camping with the family. Happy about level pitch on really short grass, with a hedge at the back.
Good area for kids games. Great view, and superb large toilet and shower block. Very impressed with hot water, soap and generous number of big sinks for washing up, and freezers for cool packs Even when the site was packed at the weekend, the block was never crowded. Very happy that the site went quiet by 11 and that the security patrol were visible.
Great stay! Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 A fantastic stay at Greenways of Gower campsite with our friends.
The site was clean and had great facilities including laundry, toilets, showers and a communal freezer. Great that there was a play area for the children. It's less than half a mile to a lovely beach but keep in mind, it's down a steep hill. If you drive there is a carpark charging £7 for a car and £15 for a van. Would stay again and recommend.
Clean, quiet, friendly, good views, great facilities Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely site. Clean and spacious, lovely little London bus selling pizza on site and a tiny little bar hut selling good beer.
We loved our stay and hope to come back soon. Great for dogs and kids!
Excellent campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 This was a very well-kept campsite, with four large fields in which to pitch. The site is on a slope, so choice and orientation of pitch is important.
Some areas of the site have great views from the hill-top position down over the coast. A very large sandy beach is just a short walk away. One of the fields is designated as the quite field, with no noise or music allowed at any time, but this did not seem to be policed.
The site had a good shower block with plenty of toilets, sinks and showers, plus laundry and dishwashing facilities, though I can imagine that when the site is full, there may be queues to use these.
The site also had a bar and pizza takeaway in an old double-decker bus, though we did not use it so cannot vouch for the quality. No site shop.
We would definitely stay here again.
Weekend stay at greenways Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We had a fab stay here!
Lovely campsite with stunning views and we loved the gowerdough bus and bar!
Will definitely be back!
Great find - walking distance to amazing beach Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Great location overlooking Oxwich Bay with views of the Castle. Walking distance to beach/sea which saves on parking as well (25-30 mins walk). Also, easy to walk to the Gower coastal path and a lovely walk over to the point.
Camp was well-maintained - grass neat and tidy. Plenty of toilets/showers and kept clean and tidy. Enjoyed the pizza bus and mobile bar as well (weekends only).
Only criticism is lack of shops. There's nothing on site, which is surprising given its size. You can walk to the one in the village as other reviewers have said, but it's a very limited range of food and a bit pricey. It also serves as chippie, ice cream shop and bucket/spade/souvenir type place! Grocery shopping is limited on the Gower in general and that's part of the beauty, but best to bring some supplies from home and if you're staying a few days, be prepared to drive back towards Swansea to stock up!
Really liked this site and would return.
Pretty good Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Pretty good campsite, toilets and showers were cleaned often, which was wonderful!
The downsides. We purposely put ourselves in the 'quiet field' however, this was not quiet. Children were playing in the play park from about 6:50am onwards and they were running round on bikes and playing football till about 11pm, this was also multiple families, not just one, so was a shame. Also, not exactly the campsite's fault.
Also, the community freezers were rammed so nothing actually froze. Not the quietest campsite but had great views, lovely social pizza bus and pop up bar! Would go again but midweek.
2 nights stay at a fantastic campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Great grassy site with plenty of space left between tents.
Very clean facilities and well maintained. Also very quiet, reception was very friendly and helpful, excellent after-hour check-in procedure. Good vibe overall, other guests were very friendly and helpful.
The only downside is maybe that the beach is not that close, half hour walk, as you don't want to use your car on a busy weekend.
I will come again.
Excellent good value and well ran Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Really nice stay.
Facilities were very good and the campsite was very clean throughout.
Many thanks for the warm welcome.
Great campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Lovely facilities that were kept clean.
The big walk uphill from the beach should be in the description to allow planning - it's probably a bit too much for those with small children. The lights on the side of the toilets should either be turned off when it late or at least turned down when it's later - it's like being under a spotlight!
Great site Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 A nice site, with a quiet field. We have been twice now and would come back.
Excellent site Recommends site

Amazing campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 I loved this campsite so much - overlooking the beach and it was a lovely 20 minute walk to reach the beach.
All facilities were very clean and well looked after, and the campsite felt really secure.

Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Really clean site in a beautiful location.
Family friendly Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Good location, clean, great for kids.
Good family site, good location in Gower region Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Very good site overall.
Large site with various fields each with different features, such as quiet field next to play area. Quiet fields away from toilet block or the more busy family field in middle of everything. We went for the top field which was near the hedging as we arrived with some high winds.
Some of the families were very loud in other areas of the campsite.
There was no orientation to the site, no information about opening times for toilet blocks or about the pizza van or ice creams. When using male's toilet block first morning, the staff cleaning said all the hot water was off and showers not working, email sent to site and no response. But, the ladies showers were working? 5 minutes later and the men's showers were actually hot and working. Found very odd. Showers and toilets were kept well clean and plenty enough for the site, even over busy weekend they weren't ever full when we visited. Men's block was bit more dirty at times, but only as what you'd expect with a full campsite using them.
Pizza bus on site was very very expensive. £43 for 3 12inch pizzas. Sign was misleading on when open, 5pm to late, but not that it was only Friday and Saturday.
Playground was quite muddy in places, massive puddles under swings and other parts. Did dry a little as the days went on and there was no rain, but water still stayed in the large, well worn holes.
Overall, the quiet zones were not quiet, and it was so busy on the weekend that you couldn't move for cars, tents, children and dogs. Very noisy in some areas well past 10pm. Luckily, top field was away enough from the large party groups to not be too disturbing for us.
Steep hill down to the popular Oxwich Bay, some nice local coastal walks and Horton Bay a 45 min ish coastal walk to from campsite if you wanted a quieter beach. Castle was closed for walking up, but you still had some fantastic views of it from the site. Site was in good condition even with recent rain. Only mud was under trees or on very well walked areas, very little! Children walked about bare foot over the grass most of the time on site.
Very clean and tidy site, except that bins were all over flowing for first 2 days. Unsure if this was due to bank holiday delaying bin collections or just due to a busy site over previous weekend.
Pitches not marked so some tenants were very close to each other. Wasn't an issue for us and our neighbours were very friendly, but I could see some being a bit put out that site got so busy that tents needed to be pitched with little space between.
Good base camp for Gower region and would come back as would have knowledge of the site and offerings.
