Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

I camped in a tent with my dog. The campsite and ablutions were immaculately clean. It was lovely and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery. I just found the shower a bit difficult to work out, the water did not warm up and the shower kept stopping. But otherwise, I will definitely visit again.

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Second year we've stayed here for bank holiday amd it was great again. Fantastic location really well set up and friendly staff. Pizza and band on the first night was a treat. Surfed at Llangennith (near beginner, but brilliant fun). We've stayed now with amazing weather as well as the downpour that was 2024. Would recommend this site, though I don't think it needs it as it was pretty full. Only quibble was water pressure was limited at peak times but easily avoided. Paddle boarding, sauna and ice cream at night. Oxwich bay also recommended.

Roof Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Visited on a bank holiday weekend so expected it to be busy, but they have a pitch up anywhere policy, which seems to mean that they can just keep taking bookings. The camping fields were rammed and people were pitching up with not even 2 metres between tents. The toilet and shower block was not enough for the amount of people and the water ran out constantly, you couldn't even wash your hands. The showers and toilets were always dirty and have built up grime in the showers. We arrived after dark and had no instructions, another camper directed us to the camping field and told us it was a pitch up anywhere site or we wouldn't have known, definitely won't be returning.

Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Brilliant location, fantastic views, good size pitches, well maintained grounds,. Really enjoyed the pizza van and our son loved the play ground. Our first impression was great, but unfortunately that all went down as basics were not there when mostly needed. Site couldn't not handle such high attendance in my opinion. Examples: no water in the showers in peak times, had to use cold water from the bottle to wash my son's feet. No water to flush toilet in peak times, which obviously lead to toilets being really unpleasant to enter. Queues to washing facilities. State of showers that were not cleaned more often during such high usage, were disgusting. Wouldn't go back during bank holidays/summer hols.

Views, relaxed & pizza!

VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Arrived 6pm on Friday and all the fields were full. Due to no pitch reserve policy, we had to find enough space to fit a VW campervan. Finally found a spot but felt crammed in and very overlooked. Toilets were average, one had mess smeared all over the seat! Showers ok, but only a hook on the door which wasn't sufficient to hang clothes etc. Appreciate it's a family friendly site but kids screaming their heads off from 7.30am to 9.30pm was a bit much. Midday was quieter as they cleared off to the beach. 5pm to 9.30pm was horrendous. Never been to a site before that has security guards on patrol - spoke volumes. 10mins walk to beach is a stretch especially walking back up the steep hill to the site. You can drive down and pay for parking at the beach, but might find when you return to site your pitch gone as it's not reserved. Won't be returning.

Lovely place and lovely ground to camp on

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Was a really nice stay, and was very affordable. It being up a rather steep narrow lane was a little tricky to get to, but otherwise, stunning spot right near a beach. Pizza stand and bar was pretty expensive but delicious! Would stay again!❤️

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

We had a lovely time, facilities are lovely and its not far from the beach. There is also a bus that goes from the fish and chip shop at the bottom of the hill, up past the campsite (hill is a killer to walk up). Pizza at the pizza bus is excellent! Campsite is peaceful, lots of security so also felt very safe.

We had a great stay - beautiful views in a fantastic location. Campsite was immaculate and very well run. All the campers seem to be having a lovely time and it was very welcoming. Oxwich Bay has a beautiful unspoilt beach but also with nice natural friendly places to eat and have a drink looking out over the bay.

Excellent weekend at Greenways camp site would definitely book again. Showers could do with being cleaned more often at busy times.

We went to this campsite last year, and we liked it so much, we returned this year. The facilities are good and clean. Great views from the site, and the location was good, near a nice bay. Would recommend staying here, and thinking about coming back next year as well.

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Enjoyed 4 nights camping with the family. Happy about level pitch on really short grass, with a hedge at the back. Good area for kids games. Great view, and superb large toilet and shower block. Very impressed with hot water, soap and generous number of big sinks for washing up, and freezers for cool packs Even when the site was packed at the weekend, the block was never crowded. Very happy that the site went quiet by 11 and that the security patrol were visible.

Great stay!

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

A fantastic stay at Greenways of Gower campsite with our friends. The site was clean and had great facilities including laundry, toilets, showers and a communal freezer. Great that there was a play area for the children. It's less than half a mile to a lovely beach but keep in mind, it's down a steep hill. If you drive there is a carpark charging £7 for a car and £15 for a van. Would stay again and recommend.

Clean, quiet, friendly, good views, great facilities

Lovely site. Clean and spacious, lovely little London bus selling pizza on site and a tiny little bar hut selling good beer. We loved our stay and hope to come back soon. Great for dogs and kids!

Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

This was a very well-kept campsite, with four large fields in which to pitch. The site is on a slope, so choice and orientation of pitch is important. Some areas of the site have great views from the hill-top position down over the coast. A very large sandy beach is just a short walk away. One of the fields is designated as the quite field, with no noise or music allowed at any time, but this did not seem to be policed. The site had a good shower block with plenty of toilets, sinks and showers, plus laundry and dishwashing facilities, though I can imagine that when the site is full, there may be queues to use these. The site also had a bar and pizza takeaway in an old double-decker bus, though we did not use it so cannot vouch for the quality. No site shop. We would definitely stay here again.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Great location overlooking Oxwich Bay with views of the Castle. Walking distance to beach/sea which saves on parking as well (25-30 mins walk). Also, easy to walk to the Gower coastal path and a lovely walk over to the point. Camp was well-maintained - grass neat and tidy. Plenty of toilets/showers and kept clean and tidy. Enjoyed the pizza bus and mobile bar as well (weekends only). Only criticism is lack of shops. There's nothing on site, which is surprising given its size. You can walk to the one in the village as other reviewers have said, but it's a very limited range of food and a bit pricey. It also serves as chippie, ice cream shop and bucket/spade/souvenir type place! Grocery shopping is limited on the Gower in general and that's part of the beauty, but best to bring some supplies from home and if you're staying a few days, be prepared to drive back towards Swansea to stock up! Really liked this site and would return.

Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Pretty good campsite, toilets and showers were cleaned often, which was wonderful! The downsides. We purposely put ourselves in the 'quiet field' however, this was not quiet. Children were playing in the play park from about 6:50am onwards and they were running round on bikes and playing football till about 11pm, this was also multiple families, not just one, so was a shame. Also, not exactly the campsite's fault. Also, the community freezers were rammed so nothing actually froze. Not the quietest campsite but had great views, lovely social pizza bus and pop up bar! Would go again but midweek.
