About Willow Acres Campsite

Situated amongst the Welsh countryside, overlooking the Brecon Beacons National Park - this small friendly site offers a peaceful and relaxing stay. While the site is just under two acres each pitch has been created to be spacious and private. Each has a covered kitchen area with all the needed utensils, crockery, and a gas hob, as well as a picnic table and a firepit. The site has named each one of it's pitches to create that truly individual experience. There are four pitches (Butch, Snowy and Lumpy, Bonnie and Dot, and Curly) that have their own eco shower and toilet. Whereas, pitches Jill and Custard have access to shared facilities. All are suitable for large tents but Jill is also able to accommodate a campervan. Blue Bella, offers a secluded stay away from the elements for up to two campervans. With privacy at the forefront you'll be able to admire the the natural wild meadows and the dark clear skies undisturbed. The site is located on a family owned working farm. With 300 sheep and a herd of Welsh black cattle you'll see a glimpse of the farming life. Dogs are allowed but due to being a working farm they must be on a lead at all times.

Willow Acres Campsite is open from 01/04 to 11/10.

A note from the site themselves...

Our campsite opened in 2022, and we are the third generation of farmers and aim to go into the future supporting the farm in a different way. Our passions lie with the farm and the environment. We hope to share our vision of a sustainable and low-impact camping experience with all of our visitors.

Our pitches are all named after our animals who have left lasting impressions on us. As it was our Grandparents who first came to Lasgarn farm in the 1940s, we use this as a way of keeping their stories alive and of course acknowledging that without all their hard work, care and love we would not have the opportunity today.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Motorhome PitchMay 2023

We came at the perfect time of year, I think. The meadow flowers were out and there was lovely birdsong everywhere. The pitches are spaced far apart and a really good size. The meadow means you can't really see the other campers that well, so it's very peaceful. There's a little kitchen covered area for each site, with cute crockery and a gas hob, plus a little table and bench. If it drizzled it would have been great to hang out in the dry (we had beautiful weather though). There's a firepit stocked with some wood. It's prettily decorated with lots of thought. The owners are really friendly and helpful. It would be an amazing place for families as it's car-free. Our dog also loved sunbathing on the grass. Toilets and shower passed my daughter's spider survey and were clean. Altogether, it was beautiful.

Lots of amenities and shelters

Small Tent - Non Electric En-suite Camping PitchesSep 2022

It rained a lot so we appreciated the shelters. The shower is hot. Good washing up facilities. The cooking facilities were also good. There is even a sofa to sit on. We were the only campers so it was quiet. There were a lot of children staying during the previous week.

Little haven
