About the site

A spacious campsite set along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, nestled between the market town of Llantwit Major (5 minutes) and Cowbridge (10 minutes). This family friendly and relaxing spot includes great onsite facilities such as a shop, kids' play area, EV charging, superfast WiFi, laundry and more. There are two areas to choose from onsite. The 'Main Park' features 100 pitches and is best suited for families, while the 'New Park' offers 75 pitches and is ideal for couples seeking a quieter stay or those in need of accessible facilities Onsite, you'll find a mix of non electric and electric grass pitches suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. For those with larger tents and trailer tents, there are 10m x 10m grass electric pitches available. A variety of 7m x 9.1m hardstanding pitches are also on offer, ideal for trailer tents, caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. All electric hook ups operate at 10 amps. You are well placed to explore the coast, with popular beaches such as Llantwit Major Beach just ten minutes away, Ogmore-by-Sea within 20 minutes, and Barry Island a 25 minute drive. For a city day out, Cardiff is just 30 minutes away and home to top attractions including Cardiff Castle and a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafes. Dogs are welcome onsite, but please ensure they are kept on a lead. Sorry, BBQs and campfires are prohibited.

Onsite, there are two facility blocks with toilets, free hot showers, and an indoor dishwashing area with free hot water. In the 'New Park', you will find accessible facilities, a dog walking area, and an EV car charging point (22kw). Both parks have laundry facilities with a washing machine, dryer, iron, and a freezer.

You will find a fenced play area for children, an onsite shop selling camping supplies and essentials, including local eggs, milk and ice cream, plus a reception. Free WiFi is provided, with faster speeds available for an additional fee. Please note that guests can use facilities from both parks.

The Cafe at Llandow Circuit, open daily, is a ten minute walk away, serving a tasty all day breakfast. For a refreshing beverage, head over to the Victoria Inn a 30 minute walk away.

There's plenty to explore along the Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast, with scenic clifftop walks and beautiful beaches. Don't miss Llantwit Major Beach just 10 minutes away, followed by Dunraven Bay at 15 minutes, Ogmore-by-Sea Beach at 20 minutes, and Barry Island Beach at 25 minutes, all ideal for a coastal day out.

Head to the National Trust's Dyffryn Gardens, just 20 minutes away, and explore a series of outdoor rooms and take a peaceful stroll.

For a dive into Welsh history, visit St Fagans National Museum of History 30 minutes away, with ancient buildings and fascinating artefacts. Less than ten minutes from there is Caerphilly Castle, a 13th century fortress featuring a dam and a famous tower bombed by Cromwell.

Cardiff is a 30 minute drive, home to the National Museum Cardiff, Cardiff Castle, and a vibrant city centre packed with shops, cafes and eateries.

Bute Park is 35 minutes away and offers a relaxing day out with its arboretum, Victorian gardens, riverside spots, scenic views and a cafe.
