Lovely Site

Lovely site. Owner was friendly and helpful when we struggled to find our pitch. There was a map but we hadn't looked it properly, at a second glance it was quite simple. The site was clean and tidy, water available close to our pitch. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy though we didn't use the shower as were heading home. Lovely walks around the area and not to far from the beaches. Definitely on my list to return if we are in the area again.

Holiday

Very clean, lovely place to stay. The owner was so welcoming and the campsite was set out perfectly. Our first holiday with our 1 year old couldn't have gone any better. We will definitely be returning maybe to stay in a pod next time for longer.

A very nice campsite. Has all the facilities you need and not far from Llantwit major beach. Will definitely use this campsite again.

Lovely, friendly site to unwind

Lovely little site to unwind completely. In the countryside and near to the coast, great local knowledge from hosts. Excellent service, they were in the garden around 10pm in their own time and I mentioned I needed a pump for an airbed. Two gents went off to find one and had a good look until they did. It's a great place to switch off your phone and completely unwind. Will be going back for sure.

Happy Jakes certainly made us happy

Lovely level site, close to Cardiff airport but the planes really didn't intrude much at all. Owner is lovely and very helpful. Great phone reception so internet wasn't a problem. Fully accessible for wheelchairs even. We'll definitely be returning.

Happy Jakes was fun

Lovely clean park. Pitches had more than enough room, the facilities were very clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and will be booking a return visit.

Lovely short stay

Really lovely site to camp at. Great little park to keep the kids occupied and the owners were really friendly and accommodating. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Good value and great location

A warm welcome - clean facilities - well situated for all the local attractions, particularly the fishing marks that we came down for. The old satnav was not very helpful for the final couple of turns but Jake should stay Happy - that's not down to him. Good value for money in my book.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay, simple site, quiet and clean. Mandy was great and very organised and helped with a problem with our gas. Bathrooms very clean. For a nice quiet break, I would recommend.

Excellent campsite

Absolutely loved this campsite. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean with large showers, and family showers also. A shop on site with all the essentials. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely site

Lovely quiet site. Great park for the kids. Cleanest facilities I have ever used. Just beware, the sat nav may take you down really narrow lanes to get there, so plan your route. Our journey home was much safer. Couldn't fault the site at all! Will definitely stay again!

Lovely little site. Our caravan was in perfect distance from the park so we could see the children at all times. Possibly the cleanest shower block I have ever been in.

Happy days at Happy Jakes

Lovely hidden gem of a campsite, easy to move around the site during the Coronavirus pandemic. Toilets and showers were well laid out and kept very clean. Easy to access local features such as the coast and Cardiff.

What's occurring?

We were on a "Gavin and Stacey" pilgrimage so the site was perfect... We could catch a train directly to Barry Island. Everything was as it should be and the toilet/shower facilities were some of the cleanest EVER! We will be back... Apparently we need to have dinner in Penarth (Villa Napoli)!

We have many lovely dining choices around with quite a few being closer in the Towns of Llantwit Major and Cowbridge. Something for everyone.
