About the site
A great location for exploring, this family friendly site is within a 30 minute walk of Chirk Castle, the Chirk Aqueduct, the viaduct, and the town centre. There are shops and places to eat close by, and Wrexham is 15 minutes away if you want a bigger day out. The four Deluxe Ensuite Pods are a cosy choice for couples or families of four. Each has a double bedroom and a double sofa bed. Inside is a kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, and microwave, plus all the plates, cutlery and pans you need for simple meals. There's heating, WiFi, a dining area, Bluetooth speakers, a wardrobe and a TV. The site's Superior Ensuite Glamping Cabins sleep six with a king-size bedroom, a double sofa bed, and a twin mezzanine level reached by a ladder. The modern kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cookware and tableware. There's also heating, WiFi, a dining area, and a TV. The pods and cabins have their own ensuite bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower. Outside, there is a private decking area with outdoor furniture and a brick BBQ stand (with one disposable BBQ supplied), a parasol, and a little outdoor box for muddy shoes after a woodland walk. You can also opt for one of the spacious safari tents. Each includes a kitchen with hot and cold water, a two-ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, plus all your plates, cutlery and pans, whilst the Deluxe tents also include a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Inside, you'll find a comfy sofa, a dining table, a TV, WiFi and a wood burner to keep the space warm, along with a modern ensuite bathroom. Outside, there will be a deck with outdoor furniture, a brick BBQ stand with a disposable BBQ supplied, and a box for muddy shoes. The Deluxe Ensuite Safari Tent is a great family choice, with a double bedroom, a double cabin bed and a bunk bedroom. The Premium Deluxe Ensuite Safari Tent has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The Large Deluxe Ensuite Safari Tent is the biggest option with a double bedroom, a double cabin bed and two sets of bunks. Bedding and linen are supplied in all of the accommodation options. Towels are not provided, so you can either bring your own or hire them from the site as a bookable extra. The site is also home to a range of pitches for members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, with a selection of shared facilities. These include a laundry room, play park and dog walking area! Most of the glamping units are pet free, but the Large Deluxe Ensuite Safari Tent which allows up to one pup to join you for your stay.
Pods are open all year. Safari tents are available between Easter and November. Stay from £59/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).
