Great weekend stay

This was a great site, with Alpacas roaming freely around the campsite. The owners were very friendly and allowed us to feed the Alpacas. Location was good with Bewdley just a short walk through along the bank of the river Severn. Other towns just a short drive away. The site was very clean and well kept and the pitches were a very good size where we enjoyed the service pitch, giving us the fresh water, electric hook up and waste on our pitch, allowing regular showers in our motorhome. The lack of a toilet block was the only thing I think was missing, and the first time we stayed somewhere without these facilities. It wasn't a major problem for us, but a little planning for each of our daily trips needed around a loo. Certainly worth a visit as Bewdley is a lovely little place on the river Severn and staying with the Alpacas, was certainly a different camping trip than we have done before.

Lovely stay at the alpaca farm

We've had a perfect night at this lovely site! Becca is super friendly and my absolute highlight was feeding her sweet alpaca girls! I've never been so close to alpacas, so this was a very unique experience! The pitch is very big and you'll find everything you need directly at your hardstanding pitch. We felt very safe and welcome at this site and hope we will come back in the near future!

Relaxing weekend

Enjoyed a two night stay here. There are no toilets or showers here, which we were fully aware of when we booked. As we were in a motorhome with both shower and toilets, this didn't bother us. Nice to see all the alpacas in the same field. Only downside was that road noise were at times a little loud, but have stayed at a lot noisier sites. The site is very clean and tidy and you are made to feel very welcome on arrival. Within easy walking distance of Bewdly. Overall, would return again.

Absolute hidden gem

We stayed here as a 2 night stopover on the way to the New Forest and will definitely return and stay for longer next time. Pip and Paul, the owners, have an absolute gem of a site here. Really well maintained and clean and very secure. The alpacas which roam the field are an absolute joy to watch. The site is about 20 minutes walk along the river to the town of Bewdley, which has plenty of pubs to choose from. I would not hesitate to recommend this site to anyone and look forward to returning.

Nice site but some road noise

Very friendly welcome, especially with the alpacas roaming freely around. Open, level site with water & electric on all pitches. No loos or showers, but that's made clear on the website. We were attracted by the lack of kids & dogs but the pitches on the southern side, grass with EHU, were very noisy from the adjacent A456, so sitting outside the van was not relaxing. Bring earplugs. Given that and the lack of facilities, I think £30 is too high for these pitches.

Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely brilliant, well kept, clean and tidy. The owners are so welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back, central for shopping, services and good security.

3 night stay at Blackstone Meadow

A lovely 3-night stay! Quiet, well laid out secure site with ehu and water for each pitch (which are a really good size). Disposal points easily accessible. A bag provided for recycling...very useful. Feeding the Alpacas is a definite plus point too! Nice riverside walk into Bewdley and the Blackstone nature reserve to explore. Owners very welcoming, friendly and approachable... No negatives for us!
