Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2022

Large caravan park, well situated for nearby towns, beach and tourist attractions. Buses run regularly outside the park. Tent pitch was large and level with electric. During our visit it was very very quiet and peaceful. Shower/toilet block clean were enough. Fish and chip shop sold delicious and large portioned suppers. Nice well stocked food store. Large bar. Swimming pool was lovely and warm, good value for money and was able to visit daily, being quiet while we were there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would certainly visit this site again.

Good location, terrible pitch

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - All Weather Touring Super Pitches (Lower Area)Jul 2022

We booked for 3 nights but stayed less than a couple of hours. Our pitch was terrible. Not well maintained and really small for our motorhome and tow car, in fact there was no room for the tow car if we wanted to open the motorhome door. We were very close to the entrance (pitch 18) and immediately knew it wasn't for us. Boxed in, no view and a bit untidy if I'm being kind. Toilets and showers have long since seen better days. I can't comment on the whole site experience as we didn't last there very long but our pitch was the worst I could ever imagine. Positives were a well stocked shop, fish and chips on site. We walked up to the tent site…about a 5 minute walk and the views were good and that definitely was the best part of the site. Sadly we were on the lower site. Crossed off of our list of places to re-visit. In my opinion the space we had and others around us aren't really fit for purpose and have been squeezed in. Maybe ok for an emergency one night stop over but nothing more. The site was very busy so it must have something, just not for us.

VW-Type Campervan - All Weather Touring Super Pitches (Lower Area)Jun 2022

The campsite is lovely. The pitch for my campervan was well maintained. I booked for two nights but only stayed one because of noisy neighbours and dog owners who couldn't control their seemly constantly barking dogs. I am a dog owner myself and had one of my dogs with me, who is well behaved. But the constant barking of other dogs was too much. Shame really, obviously just choose the wrong weekend to visit.

Just perfect

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2022

Absolutely amazing campsite. Loved every minute. Kids loved the pool and the park. Shop and bar is just right. I asked to be put near toilet for an illness I have and it wasn't any trouble for you. Just perfect!

Brilliant camp site - will be back

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2022

Quick and easy friendly check in, very quiet park mid week in June. Clean and tidy, good toilet blocks with separate showers. Didn't get to use the bar but fish and chip shop was ok, though a bit pricey. Only downside is no direct access to the beach, although sea views are excellent.

Lovely site close to Scarborough

Single Axle Caravan - All Weather Touring Super Pitches (Upper Area)Jun 2022

Lovely park with good facilities, plenty of showers and loos. Could do with an extra clean in busy times as kids don't always flush and do make a mess. But good otherwise. Staff all friendly with a well stocked shop that isn't over priced either. Fab views and cliff walks, will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Fab site!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Overflow Field)Jun 2022

Stayed on the overflow field, which is literally next to the clubhouse and facilities and more sheltered than the main camping field. Shower and toilet facilities are clean although shower lacked a little water pressure, 2 decent music acts on in clubhouse and staff efficient. Would recommend to anyone wanting a base between Filey and Scarborough.

Fantastic site

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2022

Well what a fantastic site - Crows Nest Caravan Park has it all. Great pitches, pool, bar, playground, small games room, shop, fish & chip shop and dog park. Very dog friendly staff were always coming out and putting fresh water out for the dogs. Shower blocks and toilets were cleaned daily. Those poor cleaners had their work cut out some days, after campers blocked the toilets with sick, but was always spotless each time they left. All staff were very friendly. Will definitely be booking again for the summer holidays, for another week or 2. Great place for first time campers, as they have everything you could need. My only suggestion would be maybe charging lockers to help the teenagers, so they don't have to stand around in the toilets to charge their phones.

Lovely campsite

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2022

Very relaxed campsite that isn't overcrowded, great views of the North sea down to Scarborough and amazing walks along the cliffs. The price for a non-electric pitch was a bit expensive. Double the price of the Blue Dolphin next door, but a lot more relaxed. A lovely bar and fish and chips shop. Cleanliness of the toilets and washing facilities were perfect.

Well organised park

Single Axle Caravan - All Weather Touring Super Pitches (Upper Area)May 2022

It was a well organised park, but shame there was no Wi-Fi at the top of the park (ie super pitches). Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Single Axle Caravan - All Weather Touring Super Pitches (Upper Area)May 2022

A lovely site, with some nice cliff top walks approximately 1 mile from Cayton bay. The site has a nice pub, along with shops and a fantastic fish & chip shop nearby.
