About The Shepherds Retreat
With this glampsite you'll find the perfect blend of peace and quaint village amenities. The hut is based on a working farm which delivers rural charm, with all the comforts of home. Sleeping two adults and two children under 12, the hut is well suited to either a romantic couple's escape, or a family holiday in the country. Inside this self contained hideaway you have a bespoke kitchen, large double bed, a seating and dining area that converts to an additional bed, a log burner, modern bathroom including large shower, and French doors leading onto the glorious East Yorkshire countryside. Outside you will find a fire pit and wood fired hot tub that will provide the perfect base to watch the sunset and stargaze under the clear night sky. The age-old question of countryside break or seaside break is solved here - both are easily reached. It's only 4 miles from the nearest beach whilst boasting gorgeous countryside walks and views right on the doorstep.

The hut includes an en-suite bathroom with toilet and large shower. Outside boasts glorious views over the East Yorkshire countryside, a seating area and wood fired hot tub.
There is a pub within half a mile of site and nearby you'll also find fish and chips, an Italian restaurant and more.

Things to do on site and in the Hull area
Patrington is the perfect base to explore from. Countless country walks are on the doorstep with numerous shops, pubs and restaurants all within a short stroll.
Spurn Point is located 15 minutes away which provides a great day out exploring the nature reserve, climbing the lighthouse, enjoying the beach, and spotting countless wildlife.
Withernsea is a seaside town located 4 miles away, offering beaches, shopping, fish and chips plus much much more. A lighthouse stands proudly in the centre of town making it easy to spot for miles around. There is also a leisure centre with large indoor swimming pool and water slide.
Burton Constable Hall is a short drive away. This period Elizabethan manor house provides a fantastic day out, looking back at the history of the estate and taking in the stunning grounds.
The Deep is a popular attraction located in the nearby city of Hull. It is a large modern aquarium that attracts thousands each year. Once you have finished exploring the sealife, you can take a stroll around Hull's popular Marina and Old Town.
