Clear filters Great location with excellent staff
Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 We really enjoyed our stay at Flaxton Meadows. The facilities were excellent, of a high standard and very clean. The staff, especially Jonny and Mark were excellent.
The location for the places we wanted to visit was very good, between the Yorkshire dales and Whitby/Scarborough.

Well appointed site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 Nice modern site, having transport is a must.
Would have given a 5 star rating if a small shop was on site.

Very nice
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 Couldn't fault this site.
Greeted by a very friendly person who directed us to our pitch and told us information required re services. The site was spotless and well laid out. Shower block etc very clean and well equipped. Nice little bar onsite and pizza served from the pizza van if required.

Excellent stay
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Mitchell's Field) Jun 2025 We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Flaxton Meadows.
The facilities were first class and the staff were very helpful and engaging. It has a friendly and welcoming aura. We have a paticular passion for nature and Flaxton Meadows totally embrace all nature has to offer.
We will definitely be returning and have no hesitation in recommending.

Fabulous site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 Stayed one night & we knew from the minute we drove in that it would be good.
Excellent clean facilities. Spacious pitches & the staff all very helpful.
It has a great little bar with pizza & breakfasts available if required. Lovely dog walk around the perimeter.
I'm sure we will return.

Perfect site for relaxation
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Very tidy, clean site - showers and toilets best I have seen.
Jonny the manager was great as were the other staff. Dog walks on your doorstep. Massive hard standing bays.
Bar - pizza - meeting area - entertaining themes all around.
A credit to the team and owner who has made the site eco and user friendly.
Breakfast baps with coffee - tea available at weekends. Well thought out site - a gem.

First time stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Nice location. Very quiet as not many people staying. Very clean and well kept. Showers and toilets warm and clean. Shower cubicle could do with a small bench or chair.
Nice bar with very reasonable prices and pizza cooked to order. Would stay again.

Amazing site
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Everything about the site was fantastic. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much. The pizzas from G Papa J's are delicious and so were the chips!
Bus to York or Malton was around a 30 min walk away.

Absolutely loved it here
Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Our first visit to this quiet, adults only, relaxing site, with fantastic spotlessly clean facilities, nature trail, dog walking area, nice well stocked bar/lounge. Sky sports and a pizza van.
Everything is on your doorstep, with York being 6 miles away and the east coast less than an hour away. The nearest village is Strensall with shops, fuel station and a late night Londis shop. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

Brilliant stay
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 We booked Flaxton meadows on the morning of out stay - was a last minute decision to go away for the weekend.
We arrived and was shown to our pitch by very friendly staff, and settled in for the day/night. Next morning, we had a shower in what can only be described be described as very clean and quirky themed cubicles.
In the afternoon, had a few pints and watched the football in the fantastic bar and again, very friendly staff were very chatty. We had had a pizza from the pizza oven/van on site which was okay.
We are new to the motorhome game, but can honestly say this is the best site we have been on and will definitely recommend it to our family and friends, we will definitely be going back.

York jewel not to be missed
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Jewel in the crown touring park with a thoroughly enjoyable stay from our own hectic lives as park managers in Lincoln.
Staff exceptionally upbeat and attentive. The park itself created by an artist. Shower facilities best we have encountered yet. Perfect having a bar to sit back and unwind, with onsite food freshly prepared from a very clean purpose built catering trailer. Attention to detail 5* - some ideas definitely will be implemented back here in Lincoln.
Annabel and Martin definitely assets to the company, with a fabulous welcome making the start more enjoyable. Love the automatic mowers.

Amazing site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Amazing site. Cleanliness is pristine. The shower block is immaculate with underfloor heating too.
Champers Bar on site is lovely if you want a few drinks and to meet other campers. Hugh TV screen if you want to watch football etc. Peaceful and quiet site, not to far to go into York either.
They have a pizza van on site, and the pizzas and cheesy chips are excellent. The owners are adding extra things to the site too, like breakfast barms in the morning and also, a pool table we were told will soon be available. There are also games like dominoes and board games you can play in the bar area. The outside seating at the bar is lovely and relaxing.
Dish wash and dog wash facilities are available and also a washing machine and dryer if you need to wash any clothes. Each pitch has a water tap and EHU and there is an Elsan area on site too.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and we will definitely be returning for a further visit. Absolutely loved it.

Perfect campsite
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2024 One of the best campsites we have stayed at. A great location, spotless facilities, lovely staff and a warm, cosy and reasonably priced bar.
It was approximately £13 for an Uber into York. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Mitchell's Field) Sep 2024 Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We stayed as a young couple and thought it was absolutly brilliant. Hosts were absolute brilliant and couldn’t ask for anything more. Onsite facilities were very clean.

Worth a visit
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 Excellent for the week long stayers who want a break at a very private, quiet place. Also for those who want to keep off the internet and not want to make Whatsapp video calls to see your grandchildren whilst away. My sim company signal I found was was useless, so relied on Flaxton Wi Fi, which I also found was terrible.
But, positioning of the site was great. Village 2.5 miles away with garage / post office combined, shops, pub & restaurants. York approx. 9 miles away, also one hour away from Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby.
Flaxton staff nice and helpful, very nice shower block and toilets spotlessly clean. Nice drinks bar selling fresh / lively pint of lager and a pizza trailer.
A lot of converted vans parked up whilst we were there, they have many doors so expect to hear every one open and close, unlike a caravan with one only door.

Please note the touring park, facilities block, bar and bar area, are adults only, 18 years and over. However, the log cabins do allow families in them.
