About the site
The park is in the Vale of Lanherne, with views across the valley and down towards Mawgan Porth - just a ten minute walk from the superb sandy beach, voted one of the best beaches in the UK by the Sunday Times. Guests can enjoy a stay in one of the site's family friendly shepherd's huts for four, or a romantic getaway in a shepherd's hut for two. Each of the huts is nestled in its own spacious, private garden area with an awning, BBQ area, hammock, seating and a hot tub, so you will have everything you need for relaxing outdoors! Inside you will find a light open plan space with a luxurious double bed for two, along with bunk beds that conveniently turn into seating and a TV. You will also have a fully equipped kitchen with a small dishwasher, along with a full ensuite including a shower. The park also offers well-appointed holiday homes perfect for family breaks, set on the sloping side of the tranquil valley and looking out over the countryside and woodland. Midway along the north Cornish coast, the park is a great base for a holiday with easy access to all of Cornwall's attractions. Please note, the shepherd's huts are pet free.

This park is a beautiful hidden gem a five minute drive from 2 little surfer beaches and easily commutable for the whole of Cornwall. We stayed in a Shephard's Hut with a private hot tub and BBQ and it was heavenly! We seriously considered booking more annual leave on the spot and extending our stay. Will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at this lovely little site. Area for tents and caravan/campers was spaced very well to give you a sense of space and privacy, picnic benches lovely little addition. The site was immaculately kept with little quirky areas dotted about. Great addition of a food van and bar so you could have tasty takeaway and refreshment while you waited Amenities were very clean and everything thought about for campers. There was even microwave, which was handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially as our car broke down part way through our stay. They allowed us to keep our car on the car park, outside the shop and even offered to help us take our tent and camping gear up to car in the site van if we needed. Very helpful and much appreciated. Loved the short wooded walk down to Mawgan Porth and beach. Beautiful area and good point to travel from on bus or car to surrounding areas and beautiful coastal path walks. Thoroughly loved our stay and would definitely go back to Sun Haven campsite and definitely recommend it.
