A note from the site themselves...
The site is set within our working hill farm, which we have been farming for generations. In 2009, I decided to diversify into camping after selling a successful cafe I had ran in my local town for 17 years. I wanted to work back on the farm in the outdoors, so started with a few tents and a bunkhouse set in an old barn I restored.
I am passionate about giving people the chance to stay in a beautiful, peaceful location away from all the hustle and bustle of life. I work hard to provide a friendly experience for my guests and to provide all the amenities they need.

Glamping Cabin - CabinAug 2024
We stayed for three nights in the 'Glamping' Cabin. When we arrived, it wasn't ready for us, but we were early. The lady stopped what she was doing and went down to get it ready for us, which was very kind of her. The location is very quiet and you can't hear a thing during the night. It's close to the A38 as well.
The showers were well pressurised and nice and hot. The toilets were always clean. The fridge in the wash up area was clean.
Unfortunately, there were several negatives for us during our stay. Very little privacy in the shower block. Just plastic sheeting covering the entrance & a couple of shower curtains to stop people wandering down. No changing room there, just a bench on the outside.
No power in the cabin. There is a light, but no electric for guests. No access to a kitchen. No hand soap in the gents. There is a lack of rubbish bins on site. One in the cabin might be useful, or at least one in the washing up area. We could only find one in the toilet blocks. The light in the washing up area is minimal & will only come on at night or when it's dark as it's on a sensor.
Lack of washing up facilities in the washing up area. Whilst there was water, there was no soap or cloth to wash with. There is a lack of decent signage to try to find the site.
Small, quiet and friendly site
