Wonderful Campsite

A wonderful campsite with friendly staff, great facilities and fabulous for kids and dogs. Would definitely come back! Food trucks and onsite cafe made our stay very comfortable :)

Excellent site

Excellent, very well kept and organised site with a great shop and cafe on site. Great enclosed, large dog walk too. Only negative for us was our adults only pitch was right next to the general pitches but that is splitting hairs.

Absolutely immaculate site

Having previously been caravan club site visitors, we opted for a change and decided to visit St Helens caravan park. OMG!!! what an eye opener. The approach to the site is absolutely beautiful, a tree lined driveway- very impressive. We got a warm welcome at reception and then proceeded to our pitch. A lovely sunny spot. The site’s shower block was amazing- like something out of a boutique hotel. Immaculate! There is an on-site coffee shop/cafe serving breakfasts, lunches and cakes throughout the day. In addition there are food nights - the pizzas excelled expectations. They were delicious. There is an additional charge for electricity- it worked out at £12 for 8 days for us. Very reasonable. I really cannot recommend this site enough, it really is a credit to the owners and their wonderful, friendly, hardworking staff. We will definitely be back 😁

Everything was super tidy and well-maintained, with excellent sanitary facilities, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would gladly return ☺️👍

Good stuff

Good size pitches, very clean and comfortable showers with under floor heating, great café and children's play area all positives. 1 negative is having to pay for electricity on top of the site fees. I would not have a problem with it if the site fees were reduced to compensate for the electric.

Quick stopover

Very well equipped site set in beautiful surroundings. Well worth a visit to the local village. The site was our first stop on an NC500 tour and had the best amenities by far.

Peaceful stay

Site is really big with a lot of seasonal and store and stay pitches. We normally go for smaller sites but this was a lovely surprise, really nice and peaceful. We stayed in the adults only part but the whole park was quiet. It is very well managed very clean and tidy The facilities are immaculate, the nearest showers to us were unisex with plenty of individual bathrooms and free warm showers toilet and wash basin. Lovely licences, cafe open for breakfast and lunch, food was amazing. Plenty of walks from the site and a dog walk. A new shop has opened on site just starting up but will be a really good addition. Unfortunately, the nearby pub was closed for renovations but it is only a short walk away.

Weekend stay

What a fabulous site the best we have stayed at. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The facilities are of a high standard and spotlessly clean. We had booked a large pitch so that we could try out our new awning. The site is beautifully maintained and we enjoyed a pleasant walk around it. There is a good play park for children with a zip wire. The on-site cafe is a real gem we had an amazing breakfast. On Saturday evening the cafe opens between 5-8pm, we enjoyed pizza and a beer. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay

We thought that this campsite was one of the nicest we have stayed, the site is beautifully kept and the location suited us. The facilities are outstanding, built and made to last, with quality finishing.

Perfect

Lovely site with spacious level pitches. The shower facilities are modern and very clean with large cubicles. Also, separate cubicles with hair dryers in. There's a lovely cafe on site but only had coffee and cake (which was delicious) as they had stopped serving food when we called. There are some lovely walks nearby and only a 20 minute drive to Scarborough. Booked again before we left as there is so much more we want to explore.

Fabulous stay

First visit to this campsite and it was great. I loved the lights on entry, check-in was easy and quick. Our pitch was easy to find and ample in size. The toilets were first class, they were individual cubicles and had underfloor heating and music. Will definitely be going back, thank you.

Great site

We stayed 3 nights in a motorhome on an adults only gravel pitch. It had a water and electric hook up, the electric was pre pay which cost us £3.50 for the the whole stay, We walked to the Dennison Arms in the next village which took 40 mins, although good shoes and a torch was needed the meal in there was lovely, The bus stop to Scarborough is at the entrance of the site and run every 2 hours, all in all we will return to this site it was great.

Pod stay

I had a really nice stay here at St Helens in one of the pods! Hadn't been in a pod before and this was really enjoyable! The Pod was clean, the campsite was also clean! The toilet block was very clean and modern, I liked the touch of the radio playing at any time you went in there (even at 12am!!), it was a nice little touch! The staff were friendly and the on site café had lovely food! All around a lovely pod to stay!

Brilliant

For our first time out in the new caravan life, we couldn't have come to a better start here. The site was clean, well-managed, and everything was on hand to make our stay enjoyable. The café is amazing and a must-go for you lads who like a proper breakfast. I would 100% recommend it to family and friends.

Absolutely amazing

We stayed just for a night so we could visit Scarborough the following day and it was absolutely amazing! The facilities were so clean and the cafe on site was delicious. We will 100% be returning, especially for the price, thank you for having us :)
