About Kingates Farm
This peaceful site is nestled just ten minutes away from the sandy beaches of the Isle of Wight's South Coast, surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is ocated on 5 acres of private land, shared with only three other detached properties, including the Grade II listed Kingates Farmhouse. Enjoy this cosy, furnished Shepherd's Hut with breathtaking views - ideal for couples - complete with a furnished kitchenette, wood burner, and TV. A patio is complete with a south-east facing garden, enclosed with a solid fence and surrounded by wildflower meadows. Outdoor undercover heating and a BBQ, with starter charcoal included, can also be found. Soak up the sun and enjoy an abundance of birds, local wildlife, neighbouring farm animals and the odd red squirrel, spotted with the monocular provided! The site provides cupboard essentials such as tea, coffee etc., in the kitchen. There's also a welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, butter, eggs, bottled water and treats are provided, and extras can be ordered ready for your arrival! Onsite, you'll find a heated swimming pool and steam room, with private use available (book in advance).

Things to do on site and in the Ventnor area
Bring a bike and the site can store it for you securely. This area is renowned as one of the best cycling destinations worldwide. Miles of connecting footpaths make the Isle of Wight a perfect place to explore, returning for a swim and steam.
Horse riding is available nearby on the beach and/or a range of riding experiences for all ages.
Spoilt for choice for water sports, canoe, kayak, paddle boarding, sailing. The Round the Island Yacht Race is an internationally acclaimed event, along with the Powerboat racing too!
