We know that for some, it's not real camping without a campsite that allows fires. There's something about the crackle of flames around a campfire, sparks fluttering in the night. It's the heart and soul of traditional camping. And there's no doubt that it brings people together, not just sizzling up a good meal but stargazing in the glow of the fire's dim circle, strumming out a tune or whispering stories.
