About the site
This peaceful campsite is situated on a 300 acre sheep farm on the fells between Coniston Water and the Duddon Estuary, a short detour from the Cumbria Way if you are walking. The farm is surrounded by footpaths for walking, with sheep and cows as your neighbours! The grassy, mostly flat site is off the beaten track and next to the open fell. There are 16 non electric pitches, along with seven grass pitches with 10 amp electric hook ups, as well as one hardstanding with 10 amp electric hook up. Tents, roof tents and campervans are welcome, with a maximum of eight guests permitted per pitch. For exploring by car, there are so many amazing local spots to choose from.
