This attractively laid out park is convenient for the English-Welsh Border, offering access to attractions in two countries. All of the pitches at Foxtail Holiday Park are fully serviced and offer a level hard standing base. There is a dog friendly pub and restaurant within a five minute walk from the site where you can also gain access to some lovely canal walks. Free superfast WiFi throughout the site.

About the site

This upgraded and well equipped park is an easy walk from the nearby Llangollen Canal with its picturesque country setting. Perfect for doing some sightseeing in England (Chester and Chester Zoo are 30 mins) or Wales (Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Xplore Science Discovery Centre). Great for walkers looking for a jaunt along the Llangollen Canal or the more challenging long distance Offa's Dyke Path. Pitches are all set on hardstanding and each serviced with electric, water and drainage to suit caravans and motorhomes.

Our friendly team of wardens are on hand to give advice on the local area regarding walks or places to eat or even help you on the set up whether it is your very first Touring holiday or you have 30 years' experience.

We have so many friends who return time after time to this beautiful part of the country and maybe like them Foxtail Holiday Park will be a place you will escape to.

Things to do on site and in the Weston Rhyn area

Activity fans? Llangollen has some high speed waters perfect for rafting (15 minutes' drive), or hit some of the area's outdoor activity centres for highly trained instructors, who can help you get your head for heights with gorge scrambling, climbing, abseiling and much more.

History buffs can make for Chester to nosey at the lives of the Romans remains - it features an underground strongroom, amphitheatre, Roman Gardens etc.

The kids' eyes will light up at Wrexham's Xplore Science Discovery Centre (15 minutes) and the many furry friends at Chester Zoo.

You'll want to have a good look at the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (10 minutes' drive) too.
