For something a little cosier, stay in the Emily Rose or Beacon View shepherd's huts, fully equipped with a double beds (king sized in Emily Rose) and shared washroom facilities. Dogs are welcome!

About the site

Surrounded by scenic countryside, this adult only site offers an ideal base for exploring the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, with Llangollen just a 10 minute walk away. Enjoy a back-to-basics escape with attractions within walking distance, including Plas Newydd Historic House and Gardens (25 minutes) and Castell Dinas Brân (30 minutes), offering incredible valley views. Choose from 3m x 5m grass and gravel pitches with a 16 amp electric hook up for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, or 3m x 8m gravel hardstanding pitches (campervans and motorhomes only), also with a 16 amp electric hook up. Electricity is included in the price. Toilet and shower facilities are now available for the 2026 season. Glampers can opt for Emily Rose or Beacon View shepherd's huts, complete with double beds (king-sized in Emily Rose), a kitchenette, a fridge, a cooker, crockery, kettle, and a toaster. Gas, electricity, and heating (electric and log burner) are included, along with bedding and towels. Guests have their own access to a washroom hut outside the hut with bathroom facilities shared between the 2 shepherd's huts. Just a five minute drive away, Horseshoe Falls on the River Dee is ideal for canoeing, boating, and riverside walks, while Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is only ten minutes away for more water-based fun. Dogs are welcome onsite! BBQs and campfires are permitted, provided they are raised off the ground.

Please note that tourers won't have access to any toilet or shower facilities and so must bring their own. Onsite, guests have access to a chemical disposal point, water, and electric hook ups. There is also a shepherd's hut which has its own private bathroom and shower facilities.

There are a number of pubs within a 15 minute walk, including the Bull Inn, The Corn Mill, and Dee Side Cafe Bistro. Your nearest supermarket is SPAR Llangollen, 20 minutes away!

*For caravans/motorhomes, please check-in between 1pm-6pm. For glamping, check-in between 3pm-6pm to allow for changeover.

*Check out by 11am although we are happy to be flexible depending on how busy we are.

*Guests under the age of 16 are not allowed on site.

*The site does not accept dogs listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

*Fire pits and BBQs are permitted but must be raised off the ground.

*Open fires are prohibited onsite.

A note from the site themselves...

I moved into the farm in April 2025 and started the caravan site in July. It's my dream place, out in the countryside on a quiet road yet only a 10 minute walk to the bustle of Llangollen where there is so much going on. I will be trying to make the site as eco-friendly as possible over the coming years by planting new hedges, trees and wild flowers. I like to provide a personal service, greeting guests on arrival and if you're lucky cakes at the weekend! Whilst I am still working full time from home, this will be my early retirement project!

Things to do on site and in the Llangollen area

Just five minutes from the site is Horseshoe Falls, a popular spot for dog walks, canoeing, rowing, paddling, picnics, and more. Adventure seekers can also explore the Llangollen Canal Towpath (5 minutes) or tackle the Garth Mountain - Panorama Walk (15 minutes) for scenic cycling and hiking.

A 25 minute stroll takes you to Plas Newydd Historic House and Gardens, where you can explore a 14th century country house with audio tours, peaceful walks, and a tea room. Just a 35 minute walk or ten minute drive away is Castell Dinas Brân, a 13th century hilltop ruin with panoramic valley views.

Water lovers should head to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (10 minutes) for canoeing, boating, and surrounding hiking trails, with places to grab food and drink on either side. For a full historical day out, visit National Trust - Chirk Castle (20 minutes), a medieval fort with gardens, artefacts, a cafe, and a shuttle bus service to take you up and down.
