About the site


Situated within a racecourse, a 20 minute walk from Stratford-up-Avon, this is the ideal site for those who want to explore Warwickshire. Enjoy a seasonal race day onsite or see a play at Shakespeare's Theatre just 5 minutes drive away. The site offers non electric grass pitches just for tents, non electric grass touring pitches, electric grass touring pitches and non electric hardstanding pitches suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and RVs. You can stay during a race day and the ticket to the event will be included in your stay price. The racecourse is not an all weather track, so race days will only run between March and October, with regular live entertainment in the summer months too! With the onsite shop, you can get your camping essentials, including Calor gas. Just a 20 minute walk from the site is the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, with plenty of historic places to visit, shops and restaurants to enjoy. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you on your stay. BBQs and fire pits are allowed onsite but must be raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted.

Onsite facilities include two heated toilet and shower blocks, Elsan chemical and grey water disposal, a motorhome disposal point and freshwater points. There is a laundrette, washing up facilities and a small supply shop that offers Calor gas.

The closest supermarket is a Morrison's, a 5 minute drive away. The Windmill pub is the closest to the site, a 30 minutes walk or a five minute drive, that serves food and drink seven days a week.

*A minimum 2 or 3 night booking is required over Race meetings, One of the nights being that of the Race day(s) itself.

*The site do not allow Arrivals on Race Days.

*Kindly ask that guests do not depart on Race days, but if you need to please consider leaving the site early morning or after all race going traffic has left at the end of the meeting.


Things to do on site and in the Stratford-Upon-Avon area

You can stay onsite, enjoy a seasonal race day, live entertainment and the racecourse views, or walk 20 minutes to the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. You can take in the history by visiting Shakespeare's birthplace, his wife Anne Hathaway's cottage and watch a play at the Shakespeare Theatre.

For a peaceful break in the town, visit the Stratford Butterfly Farm (30 minutes walk), where you can see butterflies flying in an exotic environment of tropical flowers with waterfalls and fish pools.

If you're looking for a more nature filled day, why not try out the Welcombe Hills and Clopton Park Circular walking trail, the start of which is a ten minute drive from the site. The route is estimated to be just over an hour long and just under 4km, where you get some great views of the Stratford-upon-Avon countryside.

Just 20 minutes from the site is Warwick, where you can visit Warwick Castle or relax in one of the many parks and gardens.
