Great time

Had a great time met lovely people including staff. Cow shed was a great night road was a bit of a struggle getting up onto site but loved our stay will definitely be going back, keep up the good work folks.

Mostly marvellous

We had a great weekend at Beltonville. It's in a beautiful location and run by lovely people. The only problem was the water. Plenty to drink on this hot weekend, thank goodness. But, the water for washing up and showering kept running out. Then my shower this morning was cold. Not great when you have to put a £1 coin in to shower at all. Having said that, I would come back and recommend the campsite to others 👍🏼

Great location

We had a great stay at Beltonville Farm over the bank holiday weekend. Great location and facilities. I will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

An amazing experience

Everything was spectacular. They frequently cleaned all the facilities, the staff were lovely and the views and nearby villages were beautiful. It is a perfect environment for friends and families with young children. My only complaint was that when I rang to hire a fire pit in advance, they said they "never run out" , however when we arrived, there were none left. Additionally, I would still recommend bringing your own meals as the cafe had great quality food but it was quite expensive. Other than that, it was a great camping site and we had an amazing time.

Fun packed and lovely staff

Had a fabulous weekend, there was a beer festival on with live bands and also a strong man competition. The food was good, loved the breakfast. Understandable that the toilets and showers got busy as there was a lot of people for the festival. One morning, the toilets were struggling with the volume, that's part of camping! There are however lots of portable toilets located in the fields, so great when you need to get up in the night, much closer. The staff were all lovely and work really hard, especially the owner, she was like Superwoman! There at check in, at the events on the door and there at breakfast.4 mins for £1 in the shower was actually ok, didn't need to use my other £1. I used the shower in the afternoon and was absolutely fine, missed the rush and had hot water. Surprisingly it wasn't even that noisy at night and the cows nearby were also very friendly and well behaved. Great for walks, I need to venture off the camp site more next time so will definitely visit again.

Great site

Site was ideal in location for the monsel trail we walked, the cow shed food and shop and events that were held perfect, the safe are 2nd to none. The only thing I would say is some more toilets or separate sinks as if you want to clean yoru teeth you then took up the ladies toilets cubical, apart from that fab and will return.

Camping

Had a brilliant weekend and must say the staff did their jobs well. Thank you.

Great stay at lovely campsite

Had a lovely one night stay at Beltonville Farm. Campsite was in an excellent location, facilities were good and campsite was quiet and well run. Thanks!

Tidy place for relax!

Beltonville Farm, is a nice place for camping, with very nice places for cycling, hiking and also climbing, just at 4 minute drive from camp area. Facilities is poor, with shower for £1 four minute. The toilet is small place, sometime very busy. Also is a bar with food there. I'll recommend this place if you are not pretentious and you don't look for luxury campsite.

Elvis has left the building!

Excellent weekend topped off by Elvis in the Cow Shed! The café was excellent giving good value for money and a good sized portion. The staff are so helpful and put in a lot of effort. Showers and toilets were available however, on the Sunday, one of the men's cubicles wouldn't lock and the flushing mechanism appeared to have stopped working! I am sure it was sorted quickly. Thanks again.

2 nights in a cow field

Booked here not realising it was just a sloping cow field. I knew no hook up, long walk to loo and shower, hardly any level ground. Very expensive I think at 35 quid a night with 2 dogs and no hook up. Stayed Thursday and Friday, had an afternoon nap Friday to wake up to some fool pitching his tent right next to my van. If I'd wanted my awning out, it would not of had room. If I was there longer, I would have told him to move it. Had breakfast in the farm shop which was fine, only moan was dirty, sticky table. We were first to sit down so clearly from night before. Would I stay here again? No. The field, which is probably 10 acres, was full to bursting Friday night. If you want a bit of peace, this is not the place, Entry to the field is also bad, tight and steep over wonky concrete.

Great site, clean and friendly

Great location for exploring the Monsal Trail, plenty of space and soft ground for pitching tents! Didn't use the showers but the toilets were clean, well stocked and plenty of room. Washing up facilities were ok but water pressure made it difficult to get a bowl of hot water.

Nice campsite with nice cafe

Campsite itself is very nice and the location is lovely. Café is really nice. Toilet and shower could do with upgrading as it is very tired and the toilet door is almost falling apart. £1 for 4 minutes shower is okay but it is roomy in the shower. Staff were nice and friendly. No complaints.

Oversold, underdelivered

The actual camping field was great, plenty of room and you can pitch where you like. The toilets have seen better days, they did what they had too, but only just. The farm shop was well stocked. The bar, café was not as expected, they stopped serving food on Saturday at 4:30 just as we sat down. Pizza was going to be available from 7pm. This was the worst pizza I've had in a long time, far too much sauce. Only place to sit was in the barn with a very load disco on. Sunday, when it was raining, the bar shut at 4pm along with the shop and everything else. Feel they oversell the site as a holiday camp but it's not.

In terms of opening times, these are advertised everywhere including the welcome sheet provided at check in, and they rely on staff availability- we do like to give them some time at home! The same goes for our live music events, which are all advertised as such. I apologise if you were expecting a holiday camp; we advertise as a campsite, with our cafe and bar as extras. Great campsite

Our first choice for Peak District visits. Fantastic facilities and wonderful cafe for breakfast that sets you up for the day. Great location and very helpful, friendly staff. 100% recommend.

Fantastic place

Just back from 2 nights camping. Fantastic place food beer and entertainment. Staff were fantastic helpful and very polite. Going back again in a couple of weeks.

The best!

One of the best camp sites I’ve been to. The views are to die for. Staff were very friendly and helpful in giving advice on local walks. Nice little pub at the bottom of the hill too. Will be back with the family in the summer holidays for sure 👌

Really happy with my experience here - everyone was so nice and they had so much to offer.

Great location

Great location and the cafe on site is very handy with good food. The campsite facilities need some investment, and cleaned and restocked more frequently. The showers have good water pressure, but 4 is simply not enough, even on a quiet weekend like ours. Same goes for toilets and washing up point. All adequate, but all need investment and more of them. We would definitely stay again, but would avoid a weekend where an event brings in lots and lots of campers, as things could get overwhelmed.

Great campsite

Great campsite, great location, good facilities. A little pricey. It's a great location with a lovely view. The camping area's are quite exposed to the elements, so a good wind breaker is helpful if you have one. A beer festival was on at the time which was good fun

Lovely campsite

We have stayed here before and came back again as we liked the campsite and enjoyed the cow shed facilities too, so that we could get food easily. We were a bit disappointed that the kitchen closed at 7pm on Friday night and then the café was closed most of Saturday due to there being a beer festival on in the next room. We were a group including one pregnant person and one young bab,y so just wanted food and a sit down rather than £10 beer festival tickets. The shop was handy to have on site as we found that our airbed had a hole, so we bought a replacement there, which was reasonably priced. Facilities were generally good. Could maybe have done with more women's toilets as there were often queues. There didn't seem to be any recycling facilities which was disappointing, unless they're hidden away somewhere that we didn't find. Overall the site is lovely, but there are a few things that would make it better.
