About the site

The Beltonville Farm campsite is nestled between Buxton and Bakewell with sweeping views overlooking Miller's Dale. Offering a back-to-basics vibe, there is a selection of grass pitches catering to either tents or campervans, with no electric yet easy access to facilities. Don't forget to check out the onsite farm shop and the Cow Shed Café! There are regularly scheduled events and weekend evening entertainment, such as meals, karaoke and live music performances, so there's always something happening. A bunkhouse lodge is available, sleeping up to sixteen, with a well-equipped kitchen and woodfired stove. A cosy shepherd's hut for two offers a double bed and campers kitchen for guests to enjoy. Warm yourselves up by the fire pit (additional wood can be purchased at the shop) or venture out to the River Wye for an evening stroll. Please note, if the ground is too dry, the site will not be allowing firepits or BBQs. The campsite and café are dog friendly, so be sure to bring your four-legged friends along!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

We had a great weekend at Beltonville. It's in a beautiful location and run by lovely people. The only problem was the water. Plenty to drink on this hot weekend, thank goodness. But, the water for washing up and showering kept running out. Then my shower this morning was cold. Not great when you have to put a £1 coin in to shower at all. Having said that, I would come back and recommend the campsite to others 👍🏼
