About the site

Nestled beside the River Wye in the heart of the Wye Valley National Landscape, this touring park offers a peaceful getaway surrounded by countryside. Home to two private lakes, it's the ideal place to enjoy waterside views and strolls, picnics, or even casting a line for some fishing. Conveniently located just off the A40, there is easy access to the England-Wales border, just 25 minutes away, as well as the cathedral city of Gloucester, a 30 minute drive. The site offers 85 spacious grass and hardstanding pitches for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and RVs. Each pitch measures 5.5m x 10.1m and includes a 16 amp electric hook up and a grass area, with some also enjoying scenic views across the lakes. Ross-on-Wye town centre is just a ten minute walk away, home to independent shops and traditional pubs. A little further, Symonds Yat is renowned for its stunning viewpoints, woodland walking and cycling trails, canoeing and wildlife. The Forest of Dean is 25 minutes away, offering miles of footpaths to explore. Dogs are welcome too, with up to two allowed per pitch and a dedicated walking area onsite for daily strolls. Please note that, due to current dry conditions, BBQs are not permitted. Open fires are prohibited at all times.

Guests have access to two spacious shower blocks with toilets, a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and a family bathroom with baby changing facilities. Please note that during the low season, only one shower block is open. Black and grey waste disposal points are also provided.

There are also indoor washing up sinks, a laundry area with coin-operated washers and dryers, and free WiFi. A dedicated dog walking area is also available.

The site is home to two large private lakes, offering peaceful walks, picnic spots and fishing. As the lakes are not stocked regularly, please check with the site before booking.

The market town of Ross-on-Wye is just a ten minute walk away, where you'll find supermarkets including Morrisons and Aldi, along with a choice of places to eat and drink such as The Mail Rooms and The Royal.

There's plenty to see and do both here and in the surrounding area. Enjoy a stroll around the site's two private lakes or even cast a line for some fishing. A rod license is required, and please note that the lakes are not constantly stocked, so check with the site before booking.

A 15 minute drive brings you to Symonds Yat, one of the Wye Valley's most popular spots, where you can enjoy scenic walking and cycling trails, canoeing, orienteering and panoramic viewpoints.

History lovers are well catered for too! Goodrich Castle is 15 minutes away, while Eastnor Castle, with its maintained gardens, is around a 25 minute drive. You can also visit the ruins of Tintern Abbey in 40 minutes.

For those looking to explore further afield, the Forest of Dean is 25 minutes away, offering miles of woodland walks. The Malvern Hills National Landscape can be reached in 40 minutes for hiking routes, while the countryside and villages of the Cotswold National Landscape are 50 minutes away.
