Stayed for 5 nights in our motorhome, beautiful surroundings and Suzanna was so helpful when I arrived. Peaceful and only a 30 minute walk to the local village to get the bus to central Chester, which is again a 30 minute bus ride. Good food shop in village. Really enjoyed my stay and will return. Great location if you want to avoid the noise of Chester but only a short drive or bus stop away.

From arrival to leaving this was no problem. Facilities were clean and kept clean. The owner even picked par our party up from the ice cream farm as the kids had 'tired legs' I thought that was a nice gesture. I would recommend

Warm welcome, dry, clean toilets & showers. Weather wasn't great but still had a great time. Plenty of space between pitches, not over cramped & well numbered. Well stocked Spar 20min walk & a few pubs. No pavement for half the walk, but locals gave plenty of room for us walking with a dog & our son. Would recommend & can't wait for our next visit.

Peaceful location. Pitches were flat, a good size and in good condition. Electric hook up worked perfectly. Plenty of open space in the centre of the field. Plenty of hot water, and enough showers and toilets as low season. In the shower shack, a couple of the showers were out of action and there was a leak in one of them. The men's toilets were a bit unclean at times but that is down to individuals more than anything. No light in the washing up area, so difficult to wash up after dark, but again, hot water for the 3 sinks.

Just wanted a simple site no more than an hour from home. Picked up fish and chips from Tattenhall on the way in and were on site 10 minutes later. Not fully geared up for motorhomes but more than good enough for a weekend away. Large field with plenty of room and good hot showers.

What a lovely stay. The owners were so accommodating (even putting up with my 7 year old daughter going in to the shop for chats!) I only wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

Thank you Micheal, great to hear you enjoyed your stay. We always feel the comfy bed in Bluebell makes such a difference - the fun and enjoyment of camping but with a few home comforts thrown in to make it even more enjoyable 😁 We will look forward to welcoming you back to stay, there will hopefully be an even better addition to our glamping offering for next year 🙂

Couldn't have asked for more! We went as family of 4 2x adults 2x children under 8. Site is well maintained, shower and toilet blocks were always cleaned and stocked. Plenty of space around our pitch (we had 2 cars).Close to ice cream farm, Crocky trail and other days out, local park was great for the kids! Overall a friendly site, chilled and relaxing atmosphere and will definitely be returning.

Stayed over with my family for a couple of nights. The site was very clean and had all the amenities you would require, showers toilets, water etc. I think there are pitches that have an electrical hookup if you want as well. The reception has a small shop on where you can get basic supplies, which is handy. You can also rent a fire pit for night time when it gets a little colder for about 12 quid I think. All in all we had a pleasant stay, lots of things around the area for trips out, Beaston castle, the ice cream farm etc. Tattenhall village has a couple of nice pubs as well. We will visit again.

We booked Pitch and Canvas for our first camping trip with our 3 year old as it was fairly local. Lovely fields. Plenty of space and tents were not on top of each other. Shower and toilet facilities were lovely and clean and staff very helpful. Shop only had basics but Tattenhall is a couple if minutes drive away and has all the essentials that you need, as well as a lovely children's play park. You can walk but as its country lanes we didn't risk it with a 3 year old. We had a fabulous weekend and will definitely be back.

Thank you Helen for your lovely review and so glad you all enjoyed your stay. We have some great news in that we have just finished building some styles and gates to link the campsite to the public footpaths. As of this weekend you will be able to walk to the village through the fields which will be much safer, especially with children. Look forward to seeing you again and showing the 'new route' :-) Have a great rest of summer. From all the Pitch & Canvas Team
