Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is located 15 minutes outside of Padstow. There is a swimming pool and log flumes, with Boat Bay a five minute walk away. A range of facilities are on offer, including a kids' club, play park, live entertainment and eateries. Guests can choose between electric grass tent and touring pitches or a static caravan.

This lively park offers a selection of activities for families, including a swimming pool, kids' club and clubhouse. It is also a 15 minute drive from Padstow, and a 15 minute walk from the beach. For tents, motorhomes and caravans, the site offers two types of electric grass pitches, each allowing up to six guests. The regular Family Park pitches measure 9m square with a 6 amp hook up, whilst the Premium Family Park pitches measure around 10.5m square with a 10 amp hook up. There are also over 300 static caravans onsite, some are available for guests and others are privately owned. Four-legged friends are also welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two allowed per pitch for a small fee. Evenings can be spent cooking up a BBQ, as long as they are not on the grass.

Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is open from 29/03 to 31/10 in 2025 and from 28/03 to 24/10 in 2026.

Medium Tent - Family Park Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Campsite location was good. Showers dirty, toilets not great, on-site chippy poorly managed. All I can say is organised chaos! Although dogs are allowed (for 7 nights, a £42 fee) they are not allowed in bar. If you're camping, where can you leave your dog? Dog mess around grass areas and after asking staff, they weren't interested in picking it up! They charge to shower and to use pool which I think is a disgrace! When we all arrived, there was still a family on our camp plot 4 hours after they should have vacated. Phoned office they didn't give a damn! Never again at this filthy campsite.

Large Tent - Family Park Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Unfortunately, my review is not great. The toilets and showers were absolutely dismal. Firstly not enough, secondly really dirty and smelly. Toilets do not flush and most showers are a pathetic drizzle despite having to pay extra to shower. The drains reek too. The cleaning staff decide to close off half the toilets when there aren't enough as is in an attempt to make their life easy. Reception lady with shoulder length blonde hair was extremely rude and even closes reception early when I wanted to address the toilets being closed off. She completely ignored me as if I wasn't there. Rude is an understatement and I am actually very angry with such service. On the flip side, the entertainment staff were great a food in dinner good, when the kitchen bothers to open that is. For what we paid, this was not great and facilities very disappointing.

Motorhome - Family Park Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Site location was fine, nerves of steel needed navigating the road outside, especially if you have large MT or caravan (single lane for about 400 metres). Lovely receptionists, allowed to pitch earlier than normal. Maintenance men were helpful, we borrowed their tools. Fab location, beach 2 mins away and lovely/clean beach area. Toilets and wash basins were clean as was the dish washing area. Didn't mind paying 20p for showers, however, quite a few were off limits due to the lack of water or water pressure (dribble of water). Wouldn't have filled an teacup in the 4 mins you get. One of the workers was locking the unusable showers and came across quite abrupt when we asked how long the showers were going to be unusable for - probably been asked that question quite a bit, but a friendly acknowledgement would have been nice. Didn't use the entertainment area or diner through choice, but the chip shop was good value for money and we were served by friendly young lady. Only real complaint not directed at the site/staff, it's directed at the customer who let their dog do their business by the wall near the showers, totally not acceptable as there are people walking, kids on bikes and toddlers about - pick up your mess! My hubby is happy to stay again, however, I want to explore all of Cornwall.
