We loved everything about this campsite. The location, the layout, the trees and bushes between pitches making it not seem just like a caravan parking lot. All the staff seemed very chilled and I've never been to a campsite that was so peaceful. Hearing owls all evening and a huge sky full of stars made it feel very special.

We had a lovely stay at Hill farm Cottage, staying in the Shepherd's Hut. Campsite was beautiful with very green lawns and the hut itself was perfect, super clean and had everything we needed. Showers and toilets were always immaculate and really enjoyed the walk through the woods to the pub. I'd definitely recommend this place and am very keen to return!

Lovely campsite. Showers and toilets very clean and modern, lots of waste disposal points and a lovely walk for the dog from site. Only 15 min walk into the village, which was great as didn't need to use the car at all. We were lucky to be in sight of the playpark so could keep an eye on the kids. It's a small site but very well looked after and friendly staff too.

My husband and I stayed here with our daughters (aged 10). It's the first time we have used our Caravan as a holiday away. The campsite was just wonderful, so much room to park our caravan with ease, easy hook ups and water access. Toilet and shower facilities are very clean and tidy. The campsite itself was very clean and tidy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We shall be looking at coming back again next year. Thank you Hill Cottage for making our mini break a fabulous one 😊

The campsite is lovely with an easy online check in service. The bathroom and shower facilities are clean and well serviced. The children's play park is a great central meeting point for the kids to make friends. The shop is well stocked and the on-site Thai takeaway is really great. Our best night was a walk through the woods to the local pub and back, on the way back the children loved walking with the torches - a real adventure!

Family of 4 and 2 dogs had a wonderful 4 night stay here. Definitely one we will be returning to. Clean, hot showers, freezer to keep ice blocks frozen, park for the kids. Safe and secure so no worries about going out for the day. There is also not a bad pub nearby. The New Forest is beautiful, definitely one of my favourite places in the UK.

Stayed for two nights on a serviced hard standing pitch. The location of our pitch was perfect, with the added bonus of privacy hedges all round, which for us was great as we have three dogs. We popped up a couple of wind breaks just for added privacy. The pitch was plenty big enough with room to spare. A lovely quiet site with everything you need. We absolutely loved the fact that there is a great dog walk on site. This runs the perimeter of the site with gated access straight into a huge woodland. Here you can let your dogs off lead. We were amazed by the amount of dog poo bins on and around the site. This is very rare! 3 great fishing ponds that seem well stocked. Facilities cleaned very regularly, and the guy cleaning them was very friendly. Office staff were very helpful, we forgot to bring our camping chairs, and the lady got straight onto the Internet to find a local stockist. Free Wi-FI is also rare on any site, thank you. The information room is well stocked with books, dvd's, magazines and even board games and outside games to borrow. Nothing has been over looked at this site and at such a bargain price. Cannot fault and will definitely return.

What a stunning place to stay. This place is one of the cleanest and well kept parks we've stayed in. We highly recommend visiting Hill Cottage Farm. It was nice and quiet with just the right amount of essentials on site. Beautiful walking paths and a little play park on site. Very nice shower and bathroom facilities that were regularly cleaned and well maintained. The staff were so very friendly and always approached with a smile. There was all sorts available to borrow in the information room such as badminton rackets and board games. Books to borrow and maps of the area which was just a great touch. We had electric hook up and our pitches were well labelled too. We loved how easy check in and out was all online and the map to the pitches were easily followed. The surroundings were all well kept with bushes all trimmed and neat. The grass was freshly cut and not one scrap of rubbish or litter found which was just amazing. The price was also very reasonable at £60 for two nights stay electric hook up for a tent. We are eager to get back and stay again!

We had 3 fabulous nights at this site and we will be back. The new toilet/shower block is lovely and clean. The showers were nice and hot and there was a hairdryer in the ladies toilets. There is also a family wet room. The shop is not too badly stocked for essentials and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We did not have electric hookup so unable to comment on how that worked/lasted. Fordingbridge is a lovely little town.

we had an amazing time .. so peaceful, relaxing, nature at its best. the site was clean, grass cut, and garden tendered. we couldn't fault this site. on our first night we had a problem with our hook up lead, I contacted the wardens out of hours, and they were amazing, they let us borrow a lead until we could purchase a new one the next day. if we had anything negative to say, would be the lack of goods on offer at the shop, maybe more in peak season? Excellent site. The pitches were nicely spaced out, with hedges between. Toilets and showers were very clean. We didn't use any electricity so didn't pay, but understand you can just put £2 on to start with if you're not sure how much you'll use. Moor Valley Park is a fab visit and not too far. Great location and great site.

The first campervan we rented broke down, then the second; the third got us there a day late. Hill Cottage Farm were very understanding and helpful about our troubles about having to constantly log new number plates on the ANPR system; and when we got there, the rest of the week was wonderful. I would recommend Hill Cottage Farm to anyone, and hope we can stay there again, soon.

Lack of sleep!

We stayed 2 nights, the first night we were woken up by shouting and screaming from a nearby caravan. We felt the small retail shop was also poorly stocked with no coffee 😞 Clean facilities and hot showers.

We switched the coffee machine on at the start of the season and sadly it has malfunctioned, we have the engineer booked to come and sort it this week. We can only apologise that we didn't test it sooner. Unfortunately we had some very badly behaved guests your first night. It is very unusual for us and our staff were equally unhappy with a very disturbed night, during which they visited the guests several times to ask them to be quiet. The rowdy guests were not allowed to stay and left the following day. We are very conscious of keeping a peaceful site and this was an unfortunate one off.

A nice, smaller scale camping site on the edge of the New Forest area. Fordingbridge is a short drive away and there are nice towns and villages around to spend time. We stayed on possibly the wettest Monday in March ever on record. It was so bad that we spent 23 out of 24 hours on one day inside the camper. There appears to be nice walking tracks close to the site but we could not access them due to the wet conditions. Staff at the site are very helpful.

Glad we stayed here. We liked it for being in a good location, ample areas for walking our dog, good size pitch and secluded hedges. The site was well kept, tidy and clean and the staff couldn't be more friendly. Will be back as we want to try the Thai takeaway and venture further.

Had a peaceful 4 day stay on a fully serviced pitch, unfortunately, we were there the same 4 nights as Storm Babet. We were on pitch no 10 and the water seemed to stream down to our pitch, but it soon drained away. The Thai restaurant was a nice treat, we would definitely stay there again when the weather is better.

I loved how private all the pitches were. The only thing I can think of to be picky about is perhaps the light could stay on a tad longer when washing up - I would've looked peculiar waggling my leg behind me to get the light back on every couple of minutes whilst washing up in the dark! But that's about it, and it's hardly a trial. We will definitely rebook as it's so handy for New Forest walks there.
