Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Perfect site for some r&r, spotlessly clean and good size pitches. There was a lovely pub within walking distance that also accepts dogs.

Lovely mature site in a peaceful location
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 This mature site with well established tall hedges between the caravan pitches, lovely for added privacy. The pitches are large and the hardstanding is plenty big enough for a caravan, awning and car. We loved the dog walk and the convenient local pub, as well as the on-site Thai takeaway (when they say spicy they mean spicy!) - lovely authentic tasting food.
The bathroom block was lovely and clean and the on-site shop really convenient for essentials, with friendly and helpful staff. Loved our stay and we will definitely be back again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Can't rate this little gem of a site enough. Fantastic, very well kept little place with really smart, lovely facilities. Respectful quiet times, unlike other recent sites I've been to, and beautiful walks at bottom of the grass pitch.
Site behind nice, simple little park for little ones, fishing lakes to the right and a village walk to the left. Gorgeous scenery on walks, if you appreciate the countryside, and the staff were honestly friendly.
I've been to many sites over the years but I really took to Hill Cottage Farm as it's got a lovely, peaceful vibe to the place. I will 110% be returning as much as I can in the future :-)

Great stay for a solo camper
Medium Tent - Fully Serviced Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Lovely campsite, the cleanest one I've stayed in by far. The toilets and showers were cleaner than most swimming pool changing rooms, which I was very impressed with, considering it was quite wet and muddy weather.
I stayed on my own but felt very safe, I liked the number plate recognition barriers for added security and the staff were very easy to get hold of when I needed to ask questions.
The dog walk was lovely, a nice way to stretch the legs in the morning and say 'hi' to the horses.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful place to stay
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Grass Pitches Sep 2023 This is a beautiful place. Surrounded by lovely countryside. The walk through the woods to the local pub and shops was great! Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely takeaway on site.
Local taxi service to another pub was handy. Having a separate car would have been better for us as we came in our motorhome, but we did enjoy the rest.
Very clean toilets showers and facilities - the site is excellently maintained. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful campsite in a gorgeous location, we loved it
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We loved everything about this campsite. The location, the layout, the trees and bushes between the pitches, making it not seem just like a caravan parking lot.
All the staff seemed very chilled and I've never been to a campsite that was so peaceful. Hearing owls all evening and a huge sky full of stars made it feel very special.

Weekend away
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 We have just returned from a lovely weekend away at Hill Cottage. The campsite is one of the best we've been to and we will certainly be returning next year for another stay. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch and we found them very spacious and very well kept.

Such a lovely site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 We love staying here and come back to it a couple of times a year. The pitches are large, well laid out and most are flat. The facilities are clean and have always been in good working order. The Thai takeaway on site does great food too.
This time we stayed on a hard standing with grass pitch. Unfortunately we couldn't get our pegs into the ground as it was just too hard. Even our hard ground pegs weren't able to get through the hardcore so we had no choice but to set up our awning on the grass, which is not allowed. We didn't put the floor down to try to limit any damage to the grass. Only adding this to the review so if any other campervan users book a grass only pitch and don't get caught out like we did. We felt so bad. That being said, when the site team walked around the next day nobody asked us to move it so we relaxed and guessed they didn't mind.
A great place, would recommend a stay here. Great walks from the site. Blashford lakes just 10 minutes away (drive) and close to lots of great places to visit.

Lovely campsite
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut (Dog Friendly) Sep 2023 We had a lovely stay at Hill farm Cottage, staying in the Shepherd's Hut.
Campsite was beautiful with very green lawns and the hut itself was perfect, super clean and had everything we needed. Showers and toilets were always immaculate and really enjoyed the walk through the woods to the pub.
I'd definitely recommend this place and am very keen to return!

Lovely facilities and area Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We had a lovely stay at this campsite. The facilities are very good and everything was kept nice and clean. The downside was that on very hot days there was no shade on our pitch, which made it too hot to spend time onsite. Our 3 year old loved the play park.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 A lovely site, beautifully landscaped in a great location, and a really nice circular walk for our doggies past the lakes.
We didn't have time to explore the walk to the local village and pub...but will certainly do that on our next visit.
