Very pleasant staff on arrival, site is very clean and peaceful, having the hedges between the pitches adds a sense of privacy which works very well. Shower block was very clean, its just a shame the café was closed but other than that all good, we would definitely use this site again.

Loved it here! Probably the most spacious pitch we've ever had (fully serviced pitch 6). Nice long dog walk onsite. Very clean facilities.

Would recommend to everyone. Nice sized pitches and the toilets/showers are outstandingly clean. Stayed for five nights and it was so quiet. This is the second time I have stayed and will be definitely be booking again in the near future!

The pitches were really generous and the hedging around them made it really private. The site itself was very attractive. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests or questions. The site is very well kept and perfectly located for exploring the local sights with some really nice pubs nearby. My only slight criticism is that the showers in the ladies washroom were a little cool and I would have liked them to be hotter especially as the weather was getting a bit colder. (I'm sure this is easily rectified as my husband said the temperature in the male washroom was perfect.) The shower blocks themselves were very clean and the water pressure was very good. All in all, a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay again. Thoroughly recommend

A beautiful campsite with excellent facilities it has a wonderful walk area for dogs with access to nearby town with pub. Excellent shop and cafe area with fresh cooked pizza. Will definitely return.

I didn't give a four star for facilities as we stayed at the end of the season and the restaurant was closed but, I am going to return with our grandchildren next time. Just a lovely friendly family campsite and the cleanliness of the site (even though there were only a few people staying) was second to none. Please pass on our thanks to your caretaker. And the bacon roll on our last day (ordered via the app) was just lovely 😊 👍

Stayed here on the off chance. What a find. Good sized pitches, great dog walk through the woods to a lovely local pub. Facilities were clean. Ordered the on site fish and chips - they were excellent.

Very good site, well maintained and good standard of facilities. Our pitch was spacious with plenty of room for our van and awning. It was only a short stay for us, we didn't meet any staff so can't comment. Emailed instructions were clear and signage at the site was clear, which made finding our pitch easy.

Didn't seem enough shower facilities but ok as we used our own. Lake disappointing so didn't fish. would have been nice to have an area to let the dog off the lead. lovely site overall and had a great pitch which was a good size. All areas clean and well kept. Easy access. Plenty of waste areas. would def use again just for a chill out break in a good location.

This was our first family camping trip and first impressions always last... What a great campsite! So friendly and such a great relaxing atmosphere. My two children (8 and 11) are now hooked as they absolutely loved the experience making loads of friends on such a short stay. I recommend Hill Cottage Farm and Camping Park to anyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors. Facilities were top class and very clean. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Will definitely rebook.

We came upon this site by chance, everything about it was great, friendly staff and really nice pitch with hook up and water, and the facilities were to a very high, clean standard. We will go back in 2022 for sure!
