A countryside haven away from the city that brings campers beside the lovely River Trent and acts as a base for exploring Nottinghamshire. With plenty of local countryside walks, cycling routes, pubs, restaurants, and public transport to Nottingham there is something for everyone! Electric grass pitches with shower and washing up facilities in scenic surroundings perfect for a lovely getaway.

About the site

The site is spacious and grassy, set opposite the River Trent. It's just a short drive from Nottingham and its amenities. Pitches are set in a quiet, grassy paddock in the lovely countryside, with 5 restaurants in walking distance! Dogs are welcome, on leads only due to poultry and for the comfort of other campers, bbq's and fire-pits allowed provided it has not been a dry season.

Site rules and policies

Bookings must not be for more than 7 consecutive nights.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Things to do on site and in the Nottingham area

There are walking and cycling routes across the rolling Nottingham countryside, with many popular canal treks.

Canoeing and kayaking plus fishing and boat trips are available on the River Trent. For adventurous types there are water-based options such as wakeboarding and whitewater tubing, rafting and kayaking a short drive away at the National Watersports Centre.

There are many beautiful riverside walks and bike routes from the campsite. Be sure to test out the great restaurants and pubs all within walking and cycling distance.
